A/N: This will be Kagaya, Kiriya and Muzan platonic fluff. Muzan will be in his final form.

Ubuyashiki Kagaya was determinded to buy Kibutsuji Muzan, the former demon king. He wanted to safe the being, though he has hurt a lot of people, he knew how cruel people were. He wanted to help Muzan, as he heard how demons were treated, even if he hated the man, he couldn't help but feel slightly remorseful. He walked to the bidding, a smile on his face as he looked at the stage where Muzan was, he looked tired, afraid and hungry. He felt bad for the former king, he had to admit.

Kibutsuji Muzan, the former demon king, now experiment, whimpered in pain as he felt the wisteria poison get injected in his neck by the needles from the collar he wore. He was getting sold at a bidding, his arms tied to his back and the mouths on his body covered by the nichirin ropes, his main mouth covered by a bamboo muzzle. He huffed and jerked to try and break free, he was afraid, confused and hungry. He hasn't eaten for a century. He just wants to go home...

Muzan growled at the public, trying to break free as he scanned through all the people. He saw a familiar face, he quickly stopped pulling at his ropes. He saw a familiar man. He had purple eyes, black hair, a black yukata and a white haori with a mist pattern at the end of the sleeves and haori. It was Kagaya, or was it? How was he alive? He was so confused. He stopped resisting, he was tired and his neck hurt from all the pulling. He heard different numbers of money, until he heard the man he assumed was Kagaya, or at least a family member of him, say a very, very big number. "11.039.707.721 yen," Kagaya said calmly, everyone looked shocked at the man. The bidder immediatly stopped the bidding. "Sold to Ubuyashiki Kagaya!" Kagaya smiled softly. The people started to leave, searching for another demon to buy as Muzan heard Kagaya and the seller talk about where and when they'd meet, etcetera.

A few days later, Muzan was in a cage, shaking from the cold as he hugged his knees close to his chest, he flinched when he heard the cage open, showing Kagaya. He whimpered in fear and backed away into a corner, his body shaking as tears fell down his cheeks. His red eyes were shaking, terror in them as he tried to growl so Kagaya would back away.

Ubuyashiki looked at the demon with a warm smile. "It's alright, no one will hurt you again." He gently approached the demon, putting his hand out. "Calm down and breath... no one will hurt you," he said, hoping Muzan would eventually calm down, or at least try to calm down. He was trying his best to help the demon, and he felt bad for him. He hoped the pain inside its eyes would go away, and he would feel better.

Muzan backed away quickly when Kagaya extended his hand towards him, thinking the man before him would hit him. He whimpered like a little puppy. His body trembled in fear as he stared at Kagaya with pitiful eyes.Ubuyashiki sighed and backed away slowly, putting his hands on his side. He knew Muzan was in fear, though it hurted him a bit to see the demon in such fear. He didn't understand why Muzan was so afraid. "I am not going to hurt you," he said, showing his hands to prove he was not going to hit him. "It's alright. Take it easy, breath... no one is going to hurt you. I am here to help you," he said gently.

Muzan simply shook his head in disbelief, the years of abuse impacted the former king, to the point he'd flinch at a hand near him. He sat in another corner, curled in a ball as he stared at Kagaya, his long white hair covering about half of his face. Kagaya sighed and came close to the demon. "I have no evil intentions... I want to help you. I feel like you are in pain, and I want to help you," he said, sitting beside the demon. He was willing to spend weeks, even months just to comfort the demon. He wanted to make the demon understand he wouldn't hurt him, and that he wanted to help him feel better. "I want you to feel safe with me," he said, looking at Muzan gently.

Muzan shook his head as he tried to signal Kagaya to back away, the white haired demon felt uncomfrotable with Kagaya so close to him as he huffed through the muzzle, a tear rolling down his cheek. The straight haired man put his hand on his knee, as he looked at the demon with a sad smile. "I understand if you want me to back off... but I promise you that I won't hurt you, nor will I harm you in anyway," he said, his tone calming and soothing.
