Waking up the next morning was nice to say the least. I had woken up in JJs arms as the suns rays flowed into my room through my windows. We had shared a joint that morning as we laid in the warmth of my comfy bed.

We didn't talk much about last night. We just decided it was best if we didn't tell anybody else until we figured out what was going on.

Of course I wanted to tell everyone about our relationship, I don't even know if I should even call it that. But it was too complicated for now. 1 with everything going on and 2, the whole no pouge on pouge making rule, which I always thought was stupid anyway.

We treated this morning like any other morning JJ he waken up at my house. Getting ready together, eating breakfast, and playing around with each other.

Soon after waking up we walked over to heywards to go hang out with pope and kie. I knew I would tell kie soon but now wasn't the right time.

It felt a bit weird seeing our friends who had no idea what had happened between me and JJ the previous night.

"Don't let it get in you head bro that's some typical kook shit right there" JJ said "what was the thought process with using your head?"

"I don't know man just kind of acted off instinct" pope replied "I was a cornered animal"

"Hey pope someone's here to see you" heyward said walking into the shop with shoupe right behind him.

My heart sank when I saw him knowing it wasn't something good.

"Evening officer" pope says trying to be friendly

"I have an arrest warrant for felony destruction of property" shoupe says coming closer as pope turns to look at JJ in panic, and I do the same

"Hands on the counter where I can see them, young lady" shoupe says to kie as she puts her hands in the air too panicked to leave them on the counter and acting off instinct.

"Shoupe what'd he do?" Heyward asked
"Take a look at the warrant"

"I'm sorry your arresting him" kie says getting upset. I wanted to speak up but I didn't know why to say

"You're just gonna arrest my boy" heyward says to shoupe as he starts to put on handcuffs

"Anything you say can and will be used against you in the court of law" shoupe says as we all start to frantically yell at him

"You have the right to an attorney" shoupe says continuing to recite the Miranda laws

"How much did they pay you man?" JJ asked
We all started to yell out things to shoupe as he took pope away

Pope looked terrified as he was getting taken out. All of us following him outside to the cop car.

Shoupe ended up having to fight off JJ making me eventually try to calm him down.

"It wasn't him" I hear JJ yell out. I knew exactly what he was doing and my heart sank.
"It was me" he spoke out again. "He tried to talk me out of it but I was mad because he'd just been beaten up. I was so sick of those assholes from figure 8 that I lost my shit. I can't let you take the blame for something I did" JJ continued to say as we all went silent. "You've got too much to lose."

"JJ what are you doing?" Pope asked

"I'm telling the truth, for once in my goddamn life I'm gonna tell the truth" JJ continued

"Took his old mans boat too"
"JJ What the hell" heyward said to JJ

"JJ come on" pope said trying to talk him out of it

"Just shut up, pope. Just shut up" JJ said looking at pope "he's a good kid, you know where I'm from" my heart ached hearing JJ say that.

"Yeah" is all shoupe said back

"This was all me"

"That's the whole truth?" Shoupe asks turning to pope

"Whole truth swear to god" JJ answered for him

"I know what you think damn it im asking pope" shoupe said as I could see pope fighting himself

"Yeah that about covers it" pope says after a moment of silence.

Shoupe takes off the cuffs and places them on JJ

"Please you can't take him" I yell as JJ looks at me with sad eyes as he's being shoved into the car.

Shoupe looked at me not saying a word as my eyes teared up. For a moment everything was perfect, and soon that moment had ended.

We all watched the cop car drive away in shock

"Shit" I hear pope yell as he throws his hat down onto the the group and running off leaving me and kie.
