"Pen Pals!" Mr. Yamada exclaimed, writing on the chalkboard. "I used to love sending letters to mine when I was your age!"

Kendo couldn't help but sigh at his immaturity.

"It's a good way to keep you off your phones. It'll be a test grade, depending on how well you know them. You'll all be pairing up with a student from Shiketsu High! Any questions?"

Tsunotori raised her hand. "How will we be assigned to them?"

"By drawing lots, of course!" Mr. Yamada held up a small cardboard box and grinned.

Is that what everyone did when making pairs? It was starting to get unoriginal.
