The deep slumber didn't last long.
I don't know what time it is but I'm going to take a guess and say it's in the very early hours of the morning.
I'm just about to fall back into my sleep just as quickly as I fell out of it when my phone pings, stopping me. (Yes, my dad replaced it.)
Dom: you up?
I can't see Dom because it is absolutely pitch black in this room, this might mean he's more willing to talk.
I make sure to keep my brightness on the lowest setting when I open my phone.
Thalia: mhm
Let's make him sweat.
Dom: sorry
Thalia: apologies don't mean shit. What are u sorry for..?
Dom: 🙄
: not hearing you out.Thalia: yeah...?
Dom: calling you a bitch
Thalia: go on
Dom: you called me a bitch too
Thalia: sorry
Dom: it's ok
: sorry for saying I don't want you here I guessThalia: you guess?
Dom: I do want u here
Thalia: it's not very clear, is it?
Dom: sorry
Thalia: sorry
Dom: why r u sorry?
Thalia: for not telling u sooner
Dom: shut up you don't have to say sorry for that. You were probably still...I don't know. What is the story?
Thalia: yeah I was still processing the fact I saw someone who has been a ghost to me for the longest time. I was going to say... swear
: she caught me after school. The rest of it is a bit of a blur, no lie.
: Dom she really don't look well
: she wrote her number down for meThe text bubble appears then disappears. It re-appears again after staring at the screen for five minutes.
Dom: did she... ask about me?
That was not what I was expecting to read
She didn't. And I really, really, really don't want to have to break it to him. He's going to hate me.
Thalia: she didn't.
: Dom please don't re-direct your anger at the wrong person.Dom: okay. It's cool. I don't really gaf anyway.
