D A M O N

"Wakey wakey!"

I opened one eye to see Maritza in her pyjamas holding my old action figure which she is hitting me with, "Mami says wake up" She said as she smiled at me. I lifted my hand up and placed it on her forehead then pushed making her fall on her bottom.

I closed my eye and sighed as I tried to fall back asleep I ultimately only got about five seconds of sleep before my blanket was snatched off me and something was shoved into my back definitely drawing blood.

I grabbed whatever is in my back and looked at it to see that it is my action figure, I stood up to see Maritza staring at my back that is bleeding. I walked in front of the mirror to see that it is a very deep cut, "That what you get push me" She said making me blink.

I smiled as I bent down to her level and pretended like I was going to hand her back the toy, instead I snapped it in half making her frown. I stood up straight as I walked past her and made my way downstairs onto the first floor.

I walked into the first kitchen to see mama and papa in there talking about something, "Look at what your daughter did" I said making them look at me. I turned around making them hiss like they are the ones in pain "Jesus" Papa said.

"What happened?" Mami asked as something cold hit my back, "She hit me with an action figure trying to wake me up, I gently pushed her down and then she turned the action figure into a freaking weapon" I said as mami made me walk.

"It's not funny" I said to papa making him replace his laughing with coughing, me and mama walked all the way over to her medical ward. "Alright lay down" She said making me lay down on my face.

"Have you learned your lesson of not pushing your sister?" She asked as she put on gloves and moved my bed around, "Barely pushed her" I said as she wiped the cut with alcohol since it is burning.

"Why did you send her of all people to wake me up?" I asked, "I never sent her to wake you up. She said she was going to Ale then I told her Ale is outside with his friends. Then she wanted Gianni and Angelo whom are out with your cousins so you were her last resort." She said.

"You're going to need stitches" Mami said making me roll my eyes, "I am hanging out with Natalie today" I said as she injected me with something. "Again?" She asked making me smile. It has been a month since we went to Disneyland and for every single day after that me and tulip have went on dates.

Tonight, I am going to ask her to be my girlfriend. after some heavy planning with my father I have found the perfect way to ask her to be my girlfriend. "I am asking her to be my girlfriend tonight" I said making her gasp.

"Why wasn't I informed?" She asked, "Your husband quite literally can not hold water so you most definitely knew about it." I said as she patted my back. "Yeah but I should've known before" She said.

"I literally told you already and I have photo evidence that I told you" I said making her laugh, "Make sure you invite her over on Sunday." She said as she began to stitch me up. How to know if the head of the Romano-Hernandez family likes you? You get invited to her house on Sunday.

To my parents family is the most important thing ever, every Sunday my mom plans some fun family activity after church and we always have a blast. Then every other Sunday she plans some big ass thing for all extended family members to come over, I personally like it. It's nice to see everyone like regularly instead of milestones, holidays and birthdays.

"Alright lovey. All good to go" She said as she fixed my bed allowing me to turnover and sit up, my mom has ridiculous nicknames for all of her children.
