after watching the sunset, the huge friend group sailed back to the harbour and started walking back home, everyone split up into their own conversations.

"dude do it tonight," carlos whispered to lando, nudging him to get his attention, eyes glued on camila.

"shut up," he shushed the spainiard, but said he might, if the time was right.

after the short walk back to the villa, the group ordered dinner and decided to have a chill, game night.

the sounds of waves and distant music blended into the background, creating a unique ambiance. everyone gathered around a low table, cushions scattered around for added comfort.

they kicked off the evening with a game of charades, laughter filling the room as exaggerated gestures and playful guesses flew around. camila mimicked a dance move from a popular song, while lando's impression of a famous movie scene left everyone in stitches.

as the night wore on, they transitioned to a competitive round of trivia, testing each other's knowledge on a range of topics.

with the games winding down, layla suggested a collaborative drawing game. laughter erupted as each person added their artistic contribution, turning a simple doodle into a masterpiece of creativity and hilarity.

as the clock struck midnight, they decided to wrap up the game night and move to the villa's terrace. they lounged on plush outdoor furniture, gazing at the stars above and sharing stories from their day.

in the midst of the cozy atmosphere, lando sensed an opportunity, tilting his head to the left he whispered to camila, with a playful smile, "hey, there's a spot by the pool that offers an amazing view of the stars. want to check it out?" mila's curiosity piqued, she agreed, and they slipped away from the group.

carlos and val watched as the pair left, both fully aware on what's going to happen.

as they reached the poolside, the distant chatter of their friends faded into the background. lando gazed at camila, his nerves mixing with excitement.

"you know, camila," he began, his tone more serious now, "these past months that i've spent with you have meant so much to me. being with you like this has made me realize something important."

he took a deep breath, his eyes fixed on hers, and continued, "i've developed feelings for you that go beyond friendship... you're incredible, mila, and being around you is unlike anything else. i just had to let you know."

camila's eyes met lando's as he finished his heartfelt confession, and a soft smile curved her lips. she took a moment to collect her thoughts before responding,

"lando, i've cherished every moment we've shared together. and i want you to know that you've been more than a friend to me too." she reached for his hand, her gaze unwavering.

"oh thank god!" lando sighed in relief, finally breathing not realizing he was holding his breath waiting for her answer.

the reaction made mila laughed, as her laughter died down, the brits are now staring into each others eyes, not sure where this takes them.

"can i kiss you?" he finally spoke up, looking down at her lips and then back up to her eyes. mila nodded, giving him permission to do so. without hesitation, he closed the distance between them, a hand in her hair the other on her waist.

their lips met in a gentle and hesitant kiss, a moment that seemed to suspend time. the world around them faded away as they shared this intimate connection under the stars, sealing their newfound understanding with a touch that held the promise of more to come.

as they pulled away slightly, a shared smile formed between them, filled with a mixture of excitement and contentment. the night seemed to glow a little brighter as they held onto that moment, the start of a new chapter in their journey together.

whistles where heard from their friends direction, turning their heads, they saw that their closest friends were all watching the couple, shouting 'finally's and 'awww's.

shaking their heads, lando got up, pulling mila up with him, hands intertwined as they walked back to the terrace. everyone falling back into whatever conversation they left off at.
