Thea had been excited all week about this special trip. With her siblings, Ben and Beatrice, she was travelling to Diagon Alley with her grandparents to buy the necessities for the upcoming school year; she was also taking along her cat, Nemo.

They arrived in Diagon Alley and Thea took in all the wondrous sights. "Look at those!!!" Beatrice said when she saw broomsticks zipping around in the sky, magical creatures perched atop buildings, and store awnings boasting all sorts of strange and marvellous wares. Her siblings quickly forgot about the Mundane world they had left behind and eagerly joined Beatrice and her grandparents in admiring the sights.

Nemo had a great time too. They purchased him a new collar with a strange charm that produced a faint but pleasant purring when he wore it. He explored all the shops with Thea, occasionally demanding extra head pats and treats from the shopkeepers. "Here, this is for you," Thea said while giving her pet a treat.

Ben and Beatrice were mesmerized by the rows upon rows of shiny textbooks, coloured quills, and gleaming parchment at her Grandpa's shop. Thea's grandparents bought them each a generous amount of supplies, with her grandmother proclaiming that she had never seen such perfect school gear. "Grandpa, can I get this one too... pretty please," Bea said while showing her grandpa some Herbology books. "Alright, get that one too," he said while patting the girl's shoulder. "Grandpa, I forgot you had so many amazing books in here..." Thea said while looking at the books mesmerized.

Thea bought a few items, including a journal, a pretty quill she found in another shop and some random materials for her future inventions.

The next stop, Ollivanders. Thea entered the shop, alone. Her grandparents said getting a wand is a special moment to have alone and they went to other shops.

"Hello, is anyone here?" She said while walking inside, the outside noise no longer audible.

"Oh! Another Wolbellthorn. I still remember your father's face when he got his wand." He said while searching for a wand. "You knew my father?" I asked curiously. "Of course, I did, I remember every wand I ever sold... and who I sold them to." He said while giving me a wand. "This wand is made out of Bitterwood, which often seeks out travellers and adventurers. The handle is made out of Maidenwood, which in turn often prefers an owner with a lot of intuition and instinct. However, the combination of this strand of Bitterwood and Maidenwood means the wand will seek out somebody with a sharp, brave mind." He said, seemingly going into his world while doing so. "Give it a wave." He said when I was just looking at the wand. A yellow light embraced me and the wind moved my hair. "Merlin's beard! So long since I sold a wand to someone on their first try." He said looking very surprised and pleased nothing in his shop broke.

After getting her wand, Thea looked at the list to find she still needed her uniform. "We bought most of the things on the list but I still need my uniform..." Thea said still looking at her list. "No problem with that, we can go to my shop this time. Uhm... Ben I think you need a new uniform too." Grandma said remembering how Ben's uniform was torn while doing 'nothing' as he said in his letters. "Now come on is just at the next corner, children."

And there it was, 'Madam Boulevard Wizarding Wardrobe.' Was the name of their Grandmother's shop. "Oh hello Hagrid! Long time no see..." Grandpa said to a tall bearded men, "Oh hello Edward. Ben, yer here too." The man said. "Hello Hagrid, we are here to buy new uniforms, my sister is going to join me this year at Hogwarts." Ben said. "Well, I'll be happy to see yeh there." He said. "Hagrid, I don't want to be rude but what are doing here?" Grandpa asked. "Oh! 'm here to help young Harry to get his things." He said nonchalantly. "But you are alone, sir." Thea finally talked. "That's because he is inside getting his robes done." He said. "I can't get in, I got ice cream." He said, everyone now noticing the ice cream in his hands. "Hagrid, it was nice seeing you but we need to get our robes done too." Ben said. "Yes, of course." He said.
