Chapter Ten

Dick's Pov

" We are hotter than them and better fighters." Megan says it confidently. I look at Tim, and he looks just as pissed as I am. I started to break my restraints. Then Tim starts to break his restraints, and Damian says, " Brother, we've got a problem. Nightwing and Red Robin are breaking their restraints." Jason looks at us and sees what Damian is talking about. " Shit, this is not going to end well," Jason says. Me and Tim glare at Megan and Artemis, and then Damian is holding on to Tim while Jaybird is holding on to me. Brothers, if you don't let us go, things are going to get ugly," I warn, my voice dripping with anger. The tension in the room rises as we all struggle against our restraints, determined to break free. " I am so much better than your new lover." Artemis says, and Megan nods her head in agreement. " They are ugly." Megan says. Jason's eyes narrow as he clenches his fists, his frustration evident. "You two have no idea what you're getting yourselves into," he growls, his voice laced with a mix of anger and concern. The atmosphere becomes even more charged as our resentment towards Megan and Artemis intensifies, fueling our determination to escape their grasp. "Yeah, right," Artemis mocks. "Like we would ever listen to someone like you," she scoffs, her arrogance shining through. The tension in the room reaches its peak as Jason's face turns red with anger, his patience wearing thin. " Brother, will you let me go now?" I ask with venom dripping from my voice. " I can't fucking do that." Jason says he's holding on to me tighter. " Like their new lovers can hurt us." Megan mocks me, pissing me off more. " Baby bat, should we let them go?" Jaybird asks Damian. " Conner, remember the fun we used to have?" Megan says.

Damian's Pov

Me and Jason are holding Tim and Dick because they are ready to fight. Then Megan says, " Conner, remember the fun we used to have?" I look at Jason, and he has the same expression that I do. " Baby bat, we might have to let go." Jason tells me. I nod in agreement, realizing that holding on to Tim and Dick might only escalate the situation further. We release our grip on them, hoping that they will reconsider their actions. When Tim and Dick realized that we let them go. They pause for a moment, their anger momentarily subsiding. They exchange a glance, seemingly conflicted about their next move. They walked up to Megan and Artemis and slapped them in the face. " We can't save you when these two are pissed off, so good luck." I say stepping backwards. "Also, you should know that you will regret provoking them any further." With a warning in my voice, I emphasize the potential consequences of their actions. The tension in the air thickens as Tim and Dick contemplate their next move, uncertain of the possible repercussions. Tim kicks Megan in the stomach, and Dick roundhouse kicks Artemis.

Jason's Pov

"Artemis,Wally's new lover, is known for his fierce combat skills, and she swiftly counters Dick's attack with a powerful strike. Meanwhile, Megan, fueled by her anger, retaliates against Tim with a lightning-fast punch that sends him staggering backwards. The room erupts into chaos as the fight intensifies, leaving everyone aware of the dangerous consequences that come with provoking these two formidable individuals." Wally's new lover is Dick Grayson, also known as Nightwing." Wally's new lover, Dick Grayson, also known as Nightwing, is renowned for his acrobatic prowess and strategic thinking. His swift reflexes and agility make him a formidable opponent in combat situations. As the chaos unfolds, Nightwing's training and experience shine through as he expertly dodges Artemis' attacks while simultaneously launching his own calculated strikes. The tension in the room rises as everyone realizes the explosive potential of this clash between two highly skilled fighters. " So who is Conner's new lover?" Megan demands. I chuckle and say," Tim Drake, also known as Red Robin, is Conner's lover. Also, good luck to both me and my brothers who trained together." Tim hits Megan with his battle staff. Dick does a triple backflip, then kicks Artemis. " Baby bat, should we end this now? Dick asks Tim. Tim smirks and replies, "Not just yet, Nightwing. Let's give them a taste of our signature move first." The two brothers seamlessly execute a perfectly synchronized attack, leaving Megan and Artemis momentarily stunned. Me and Damian rush to Dick and Tim, pulling them away from the fight. "That's enough, guys," Damian says firmly. "We've proven our point." Dick and Tim reluctantly step back, realizing the situation is under control. Wally and Conner walk up to us. 

Conner's Pov

Me and Wally walk up to the brothers. " We will take them to cool off if you can take Artemis and Megan to the medical bay." Wally says. Damian nods in agreement, appreciating the offer from me and Wally. "That sounds like a plan," he replies, grateful for our assistance. With the situation deescalating, Damian and Jason guide Artemis and Megan towards the medical bay, hoping that some time away will help them calm down. Wally takes Dick to his room while I take Tim to my room. Once we got in my room, we closed the door. " I regret nothing, Conner," Tim tells me. " But why did you fight Megan when you could have talked?" I ask. "One, she called me ugly when I know that I'm really hot; second, when I saw your face with sadness; third, when they said they were better fighters." Tim responds. " I know my own self-worth, Conner. Also, you looked so heartbroken, plus I saw that you liked when I was fighting Megan." Tim says. I nodded, understanding that he was protecting me and himself. Tim sat himself on my lap. " I love your outfit," I tell him, running my fingers through his hair. "Thanks," Tim replies with a smile. "You always know how to make me feel good about myself." I lean in and kiss him, grateful for his loyalty and the way he always stands up for us.

With Wally

Wally's Pov

Conner takes Tim to his room, while I take Dick to my room. Once we got in my room, we closed the door. " Dick, talk to me." I ask him. " I don't reget fighting Artemis Wally," Dick says. " I know that wasn't the best idea, but she pissed me the fuck off. That is why Jason tried to restrain me and Tim. I understand that Dick was angry and acted out of frustration, but it's important for us to find healthier ways to deal with our emotions. I reassure him, "I know you were provoked, but we need to find a way to handle situations like this without resorting to violence. Let's talk it out and figure out a better approach for next time." Dick sat in my lap, facing me. " She said that I was ugly and that she was a better fighter than me. I will not let her bring my self-worth down." Dick says this with a sad smile. I kiss Dick. on the forehead and say, "You are so much more than what anyone else says about you. Your worth is not determined by others." Dick nods, a glimmer of hope in his eyes. Dick falls asleep on me. I gently cradle Dick in my arms, feeling the weight of his exhaustion. As he drifts off to sleep, I can't help but reflect on the power of love and support to rebuild someone's confidence. In this quiet moment, I silently vow to always be there for him, reminding him of his true worth and helping him find strength within himself.
