Chapter Nineteen

Bruce's Pov

Conner came into my study and said Tim was awake. I immediately set aside my work and rushed to Tim's side, relieved to see him conscious. "How are you feeling, Tim?" I asked, concern lacing my voice. Conner assured me that Tim was stable but still recovering, and I couldn't help but feel a surge of gratitude towards our extended family for their unwavering support during this difficult time. I leave Tim's room and head to the Batcave. As I enter the batcave I see Dick, Jason, and Damian are at the batcomputer. They turn to me as I approach, their expressions a mix of relief and determination. It's clear that they've been hard at work, analyzing every piece of information they could gather to find the person responsible for Tim's injuries. I take a moment to appreciate their dedication and teamwork, knowing that together we will bring justice to those who have harmed our family. " We got infomation on what Lex Luthur was doing at Underworld with Taila, they were transferring kryptonite weapons." Dick explains. I listen intently as Dick continues to brief me on the details of their findings. He explains that Lex Luthor and Talia al Ghul were collaborating in an underground operation, involving the transfer of dangerous kryptonite weapons. It becomes clear that this alliance poses a significant threat not only to our family but also to the entire city. With this newfound information, we devise a plan to intercept their next move and put an end to their sinister activities once and for all.

Jason's Pov

Damian and I are sparring but Damian looks more distracted than usual. "What's wrong Damian?" I ask him. He looks at me and says " I concern that Jon and his brother will get hurt by Luthur and my mother." Damian says with serious tone of voice. I pause for a moment, taking in Damian's words. It's not like him to express concern for others so openly. I can see the weight of his worries on his face, and it's clear that he genuinely cares about Jon and his brother's safety. "Don't worry, Damian," I assure him, placing a hand on his shoulder. "We won't let anything happen to them. We'll protect our family and the city from any harm that may come their way." I tell him. Damian nods, his expression softening slightly. "I know you will," he says, a hint of relief in his voice. "But just promise me that you'll be careful too. We need you here with us." I give him a reassuring smile, understanding the weight of his words. "I promise," I reply, my voice filled with determination. "We'll all look out for each other and make sure we come out of this stronger than ever."

*Two days later*

Tim's Pov

I am fulled healed and we have a mission in four hours. I get suit up and head to the batcave. As I enter the batcave, I see Damian already there, going over the mission details with Bruce. I join them, feeling a mix of excitement and nervousness for what lies ahead. Together, we prepare ourselves mentally and physically, knowing that our unity and vigilance will be crucial in completing this mission successfully. A portal opened and Raven and Beast boy walked out of the portal. " We got intel that Lex and Talia are going back to the UnderWorld." Raven tells us. Me and my brother take a zeta tube to Mount Justice. As we arrive at Mount Justice, we are greeted by the rest of the team, who are already gearing up for the mission. The atmosphere is tense but determined, as we all understand the gravity of the situation and the importance of stopping Lex and Talia before they can cause further harm. "On squad A will be Miss Martian, Red Robin, Robin,Superboy,Tigeress, and Blue Beetle. Squad B is Nightwing, Kon, Kid Flash, Red hood, Arsenal, and Impluse." Batman said. We quickly divide ourselves into the assigned squads, each of us knowing our roles and responsibilities. The teams huddle together, discussing strategies and sharing any crucial information we have gathered so far. With a shared sense of purpose, we prepare ourselves mentally and physically for the upcoming battle, ready to give our all to protect the world from Lex and Talia's destructive plans. As the tension in the air thickens, we can feel the weight of our mission resting on our shoulders. Batman's words echo in our minds, reminding us of the stakes at hand. We exchange determined glances, silently affirming our commitment to each other and to the cause.
