One month later....

a/n: time jumping like a mf 😭but sit here and read.

It's been about 2 weeks since Key took an DNA test to see if the baby was his. Ari basically forced him to take it. She just wanted to make sure cause you never know people slip up sometimes and things happen. Key on the other hand was for sure that wasn't him baby. He would never go out like that at all especially not with Kennedi ass.

The results should be in later today through the mail.

Ari honestly didn't know how to feel about the whole baby situation. She was happy with her relationship with Key but the thought of him might being somebody father took a toll on her.

But she didn't show it at all she tried to keep herself busy as such as possible. She was kinda distant from him. She was at her house way more than at his place like she used to be.

He peeped it but tired to comfort her and saying they gone be good but he could tell she wasn't feeling it at all. He still loved her no doubt so he tried everything to make it work.

Key was currently on the block making plays until he got an message that his package has been delivered.

Ari had to work today and should be off shortly. He asked her could she come by the house so they could look at the results together. She agreed but she really didn't want to see them.

She was just starting to adapt to being in a relationship that gave her the peace she been looking for in years. She just felt like the baby would bring unexpected drama between them that she wasn't ready for. But she prayed that it wasn't his.

Ari told billy bye before clocking out. She grabbed her phone out her back pocket and turned dnd off as all her notifications popped up. Soon as she was looking through them Key called her.

"Hello?" She said answering the phone. "Wassup baby how was work?"

"It's was okay just tired that all." She said he could tell she was dry talking him like she didn't want to talk and it really bothered him.

"Baby what's wrong?" He said before starting an facetime call so he could see her face. She answered as she unlocked her car door getting in and starting it up.

"Nothing i'm just tired my feet is hurting." She said said as she backed out the parking lot going to her house.

"Come over here so i can rub them im out right now so I can get our food but run you a bath and relax until I come. Then we can eat and watch a movie." He said as she had a smile on her face. He was trying and she loved that.

"Aww you so sweet." She said as she made a right turn heading to his house.

"Anything fa my lady." He said then started pecking at the camera then pulled back waiting for her to do the same.

"You gone gimme ah kiss?" He asked as he looked down at the phone. "Key im driving." She said she had the phone in her lap while she tried to hurry and get to his house.
