"What you doing?" A sleepy key asked me over the phone. "The same thing you doing." I said over the phone we were on facetime.

"Mmcht alright girl." He said closing his eyes talking to me. I had moved around in the bed to put my phone on the charger so it wouldn't die on him.

"Baby?" He called out for me. "yeah?" I replied. "I wish you were here with me." He said as I had a smile on my face.

"I told you why I couldn't come with you." I said turning my tv down a little. He had to go out of town to meet an connect. He wanted me to go but I couldn't cause I have to work. Plus i took off last week for his birthday.

"I know but fuck them folks. I just want you with me right now." He said sleepy as ever.

"Key you so clingy." I laughed a little. "You love it tho so fuck up." He mumbled.

"I love it cause my man my man he loves me." I said look at the phone watching him.

"And do." He said and I laughed my sassy bestie for real.

"Call me tomorrow if you finna go to sleep." I said about to hang up. "Nah we gone stay on this bih. I love you and don't put yourself on mute neither. I wanna hear you." He said with his eyes still closed.

"Okay I love you too." I said laying my phone on top of the pillow like he was laying there. Then pulled some cover on top of it.

I turned my fan on and started playing light music to help me go to sleep.

I heard light snores so I turned over in bed and finally went to sleep.

A few hours later I had to get up and get ready for work. They had me working an 12 hour shift today. Which I hated it to extremely long for no reason.

I grabbed my phone to see if Key was still there and he was playing the game unmuting himself.

"Goodmorning baby how you sleep?" He asked me. "Goodmorning and good I just hate to go to work." I said going into the bathroom to wash my face and all.

"Ion even know why you working. I got whatever you need and you know that." He said telling me this for the 30th time. He always tries to talk me out of working so I can just be under him all the day.

Not saying it's a bad thing but you know everybody needs some space sometimes. Cause I know how I am as an person and can get annoying especially with him since he love to act sassy with me.

"Key I know but I just wanna have my own stuff. I don't want to have to depend on you for everything Key." I said hoping he would understand.

"What type of boyfriend I would be if I just let you work yo ass off knowing I can have you set fa life." He said pausing his game so we can really talk.

"Key im very independent. My daddy had me set for life but I wanted to do this on my own. I do appreciate the offer." I said as he sighed letting it go.

He does enough for me already quitting my job so I can be with him all day isn't something I want to do right now.

"What time you gotta be at work?" He asked me. "10 i'm finna cook breakfast." I told him as I set the camera up so he could see. It was 8:30 right now I wake up a little early just to make sure I have enough time to do everything before I go off to work.
