I felt much better the next morning I woke up, but I decided to take my temperature just in case. The thermometer beeped, and my face dropped when I took a look.
"slightly over thirty-seven. It's a little high." I ran my hand over my face. Not a good sign. Still, I decided to ignore it, thinking it would come down later in the day. It wasn't like I had a fever or anything, and I looked perfectly normal.

The four of us had a continental breakfast all together in the hotel's dining room. Thor called right in the middle of our meal. I answered the phone, speaking to him first.
"Say hi to Thor, everyone," I instructed the table.
"Hi Thor," the three replied simultaneously. After telling him the day's plans and him talking to Alder briefly, we quickly finished our breakfast and rushed back to our rooms to get ready. I had to get to the university while Alder and Sage had to catch their ride to the centre of New Asgard. Sage read that's where all the markets are.

"Are you sure that you'll be ok, Willow?" Alder hugged me tightly. Why is he acting like he is going to war?
"Alder, will you stop asking? I'll be fine. I have my phone and will call if I need you. Now, will you just go away and enjoy your day," I pushed my brother away to his carriage.
"You do know that we won't be back until around midnight?" he told me. I nodded.
"No, not at all. It's not like you have told me 30 times in the last hour," I rolled my eyes. Alder dead-faced me. Not the slightest bit impressed with my sarcasm "I will make sure that I am back in this hotel by the time the sun goes down."
"No going out after dark on your own," he tacked on, making me roll my eyes.
"I won't. You're gonna miss your carriage."
"Alright, have fun at the university. And remember to drink lots of water and everything like that. See you tomorrow! Have fun, Loki!"
"You too," Loki gave my brother a nod. I waved as he and Sage ran down the street, leaving just the Prince and I there by ourselves again. I grinned up at Loki.

"So, what are you going to do now?" I sighed, happily. For the next twenty-four hours, I won't have a sibling breathing the same airspace as me.
"Huh? What do you mean?" He blinked down at me surprised.
"I don't expect you to come to the exhibition with me. You should go enjoy your time here!" Loki spun in such a way as to face me directly. His hands were clasped behind his back in his usual casual fashion again.
"My Lady Featherwine, I did not come all this way to abandon you in this city." Loki smiled.
"You're not abandoning me! You know where I am; I won't leave the university. I just don't want you to get bored, which I'm afraid might happen if you come with me," I hesitated a little at the end of my sentence. He let out a light chuckle.
"What makes you think that?"
"Well, you've never really expressed an interest in this subject before, your grace. Wouldn't you rather go see the sites or a sports game?" Loki's grin disappeared as shook his head with some severity.
"I came here to be your escort, Willow. Dull as I may find the topic of whatever I am attending with you, I have no desire to be anywhere else other than your side. I'm not letting you out of my sight until we get back home." He said this, and I smiled. Oh, how I smiled.
"I can live with that."

The University of North Asgard wasn't far from the hotel. The university was unsurprisingly packed, mainly with tourists who likely didn't know that all these really old buildings made up a university. Happened all the time back in London; there's nothing more annoying than trying to shuffle your way to class in between mobs of people. Likely for us, the history department wasn't hard to find or enter. The exhibition was open to all and gathered a significant number of visitors.

Despite being known as the God of Lies and Mischief, Loki was true to his word. He stuck by my side the whole time. It was like he was glue. When he first announced that he was going to stay by my side, my initial thought was that I could use my vines and fling him all the way home. But it felt so natural and normal that neither of us really noticed or felt weird about it. The first thing we did was visit the exhibit proper.
