The end of my past

Ayaka POV

It was already the day of the date with the CEO Kai Yoisaki.. I dressed appropriately so that I look really elegant, a beautiful blue princess-like dress.

I'm on my way to the fancy restaurant that was near my house...then I see Kai standing there waiting...he was wearing his beautiful black suit, his captivating honey-colored eyes stared at me.

"So there you are, hehe I thought you had forgotten about the date" -he says, with a cheerful and playful tone of voice.

"Never! It's just... I forgot to set the alarm, I'm really sorry..."

"Don't worry, these are things that usually happen" -he laughs a little and then adds- "so...let's go?"

"Yeah!"

We entered the fancy restaurant together, it was too beautiful and all the food looked provocative, I ordered some fried chicken and fries to eat while Kai ordered pasta with ground meat...

"Well Mr. Yoisaki... you wanted to talk to me about something?"

"You don't need to get ahead of yourself, my dear, we're just eating" -He says with a gentle smile on his face- "but since you mention it...I wanted to meet you personally, I think you're a very attractive young lady...if it's not much trouble, may I know your age?"

"Well...I'm 15 years old right now...soon I'll be 16 years old"

Kai's jaw drops, he was re shocked at my age, he couldn't believe it and he shakes his head...

"Wait what?! 15 years old...!? My God, young lady... I thought you were 18 or 20 years old... you don't look 15 at all, not with that shapely body and profession as a fashion designer" -he returns to gain his composure and adds- "well, excuse me... I'm going to have to reconsider certain things"

"...like what..?" I ask somewhat confused

"My marriage proposal, you are too young for me and it would already be too bad for me to go out with you right now" -he says with a depressed tone of voice - "besides...doing business with my best friend, Hideyoshi, he is a CEO of a clothing company"

"Oh...I-I see..."

A marriage proposal!? Damn...if only I was old enough to marry him...truly unfortunate...

Narrator

After finishing eating, they are about to get up and leave but Kai do another proposal...

"Ayaka-san...how about you wait 3 years for me...? So you can marry me and expand your clothing business..."

Ayaka was somewhat hesitant with that proposal...since she had other interests in mind but she decides to give him an answer.

"Sounds good, Mr.Yoisaki...but...I'm not sure, since there are other guys I like and possibly I stuck with them.."

This answer makes Kai clench his fists and rage fills inside of him... still he keeps a slight smile on his face, trying to hide his anger.

"I understand... well dear, remember that I'll always be available and would do anything for you..." -he says in a somewhat sinister tone of voice

Ayaka simply ignores his clear obsession, says goodbye and walks away.

Kai comes home frustrated about today, and tries to cheer himself up with the photos of Ayaka around his room... he grabs a plushie in the shape of her and stares at it...

"What can I do to make you only notice me...? I'm going to start to believe that you're a fool for wanting to stay with some commoners than with me..."

He says something irritated and takes out some of his very sharp knives from the kitchen...
