Chapter 1

It's been 3 months since Adam's death and Blake feels so lost and doesn't think he'll find love again. After all they were married for 4 years and Blake is having Adam's baby. All he could think to do was to reach out to Luke and at least he'll have a friend and maybe won't be alone. Luke has been in Oklahoma for a few days and is trying to help Blake cope with Adam being gone and keeping him company. They've been playing music together and having campfires and hanging around Blake's ranch. Luke is trying to keep Blake in a good mood and isn't sure he's helping but isn't going to give up on his best friend. Blake is laying in his bed and it's 5am an he's thinking about Adam and how he misses his cuddles and his touch and just everything and Blake gets up and goes downstairs to make some coffee and wondering why he's awake at 5am and Blake is still day dreaming and doesn't realize Luke is standing on the other side of the counter
Blake: "I'm sorry buddy did I wake you?"
Luke: "No couldn't sleep for some reason you?"
Blake: "I wake up thinking about Adam and the baby keeps moving around so I decided to get up"
Luke: "I'm sorry Blake I know how much you loved him"
Blake: "I can't take it Luke he was the one for me"
Luke: "It's okay buddy Adam would want you to be happy" Luke walks around the counter and pulls Blake into a hug and it lasts a while and Luke puts the hand on the small of Blake's back and I feel my heart race and it's a weird feeling and I pull away from Luke
Luke: "You okay?"
Blake: "Besides the obvious yes" Luke puts his hand on mine
Luke: "It'll get better" Blake looks at his baby bump
Luke: "Don't worry you'll be an amazing dad"
Blake: "Thanks Luke" Blake gives Luke a little smile and gets coffee for Luke and him while I'm drinking my coffee Luke walks closer to me and looks in my eyes and starts to lean in
Blake: "Luke what are you doing?"
Luke: "Just shut up and let me kiss you" Luke continues to lean in and kisses me
Blake: "Wow your a great kisser"
Luke: "Of course I am" Blake laughs and kisses Luke
Blake: "Boyfriends?"
Luke: " Whatever you want"
Blake: " Okay I want to be with you but Adam hasn't been gone long"
Luke: " I'm willing to work through it Blake"
Blake: "Okay it's official" Luke smiles and shows his white teeth and kisses the back of my hand and we stand there holding each other for what seems like forever.
