Chapter 9

~A couple weeks later~
It's 10am and Blake is still asleep and Luke is downstairs making coffee and breakfast and there's a knock on the door and Luke answers it and Dierks is standing there
Dierks: "Hey Luke surprised to see you here Blake here?"
Luke: "Blake and I are a couple and yes I'll get him" Luke lets me in
Dierks: "I didn't know you two were together"
Luke: "Yea it surprised both of us" Dierks sits on the couch
Luke: "I'll get Blake"
Dierks: "Sounds good no hurry"  Luke goes upstairs and goes into there room and sees Blake is still sleep and kisses Blake lightly on the cheek
Luke: "Good morning Blake" Blake slowly opens his eyes
Luke: "Dierks is here to start on the album"
Blake: "Shit" Blake gets up and puts on jeans a camouflage button up and a ballcap and looks in the mirror
Luke: "Dierks is waiting he said no hurry"
Blake: "Okay baby" Luke goes downstairs and I follow him and Dierks looks me up and down
Dierks: "You look really good Blake"
Blake: "Thank you long time no see and I'm sorry with everything going on I've been tired"
Dierks: "No need to be sorry" Luke hands me a cup of coffee
Blake: "Thank you baby" Luke kisses my cheek
Blake: "Let's head to the studio"
Luke: "See you later babe?"
Blake: "Yep in a couple hours" Dierks follows me to the studio I've in the house and we sit down and close the door
Dierks: "Before we start let's catch up first I'm sorry about Adam how are you feeling?"
Blake: "Off and on emotions I'm trying to keep it together for Luke"
Dierks: "You should let your emotions out an not hide them"
Blake: "I know but Luke dating someone who is widowed and having a baby it's a lot"
Dierks: "Yes but Luke is an amazing guy he can handle it"
Blake: "That is so true" Dierks looks at my bump
Blake: "Wanna feel?"
Dierks: "Yeah" Dierks puts his hand on my bump
and I feel the baby kick
Dierks: "Wow that's amazing"
Blake: "It really is, so let's start making this album"
Dierks: "This is going to be fun" Dierks goes into the recording box and a couple hours later we've 2 songs down perfect and recorded and Dierks comes out of the recording box
Dierks: "Damn I sound good!" and Dierks high fives me and I high five him back
Blake: "You do sound good" and Luke walks into the studio and Blake hears his footsteps
Blake: "Hey baby" Luke kisses me and Dierks whistles and we all laugh
Dierks: "We got a couple songs done"
Luke: "That's great I bet they sound amazing"
Blake: "Dierks sounds damn good"
Dierks: "Thank you Blake"
Luke: "Want a drink Dierks?"
Dierks: "Yeah" we all go upstairs and Luke grabs a beer for Dierks and himself and Luke hands me a bottle of water
Blake: "Thanks baby" we all stand around and bullshit with each other for an hour
Dierks: "I should get some sleep and rest my voice"
Blake: "Yes rest that amazing voice of yours" Dierks laughs and hugs me and Luke and goes back to the place he is staying in Oklahoma and after the door shuts Luke pushes me over to the couch and makes out with me and we're both breathing hard and sweating a little bit and Luke slowly pulls away
Luke: "You look tired" I yawn
Blake: "A little baby it's okay" Luke runs his fingers through my hair and I'm fighting to keep my eyes open
Luke: "Go to sleep it's okay"
Blake: "I don't want to baby"
Luke: "Your body is working hard sleep babe" Luke rubs my bump and my eyes close
Blake: "Don't stop baby"
Luke: "I won't babe I love you"
Blake: "I love you" Blake's breathing becomes more even and he's asleep in Luke's arms and Luke is rubbing his bump.
