Chapter 7

After we're done cleaning up Luke comes back to the kitchen and wraps his arms around me
Luke: "I love you"
Blake: "I love you"
Luke: "Blake I was thinking" Blake steps back and looks at me skeptically
Luke: "What?" Luke smiles flashing his white teeth at me
Blake: "You and your thinking" 
Luke: "Let me tell you"
Blake: "Okay Luke" Luke puts both of his hands on my bump
Luke: "We should have a bqq and invite your family over and tell them about us"
Blake: "You think so?"
Luke: "I don't see why not they knew about you and Adam and the baby"
Blake: "True and I could use some family time"
Luke: "Yeah I could meet your family"
Blake: "Yes and it'll be laid back" Luke smiles
Luke: "Of course I don't want to stress you out"
Blake: "You never could" Blake kisses me and after our lips part I step back and look at Blake
Blake: "What?"
Luke: "Your so cute especially with the belly"
Blake: "I'm glad you like it" Luke laughs and walks away and grabs my ass and we go to the living room and plan the family bqq.
~The night of the bqq~
Blake is going around making sure the food is out an there's enough drinks, food, plates, cups, napkins, and silverware and after he looks out the window
Blake: "Nobody is here yet"
Luke: "Don't worry they'll be here" Luke rubs the small of my back and a few minutes later my family starts showing up
Blake: "Ready?"
Luke: "Always" Blake takes a deep breath
Luke: "It'll be okay babe" Luke pulls me into a hug and puts his ear over my heart
Luke: "Your hearts pounding"
Blake: "I'm a little nervous" Luke steps back and looks at me and my eyes are looking at my feet
Luke: "Look at me babe" I'm still looking away
Luke: "Babe look at me" I finally look Luke in the eyes
Luke: "I'll be there the whole time it'll be okay"
Blake: "What if it's not?"
Luke: "They were with you and Adam"
Blake: "But it's only been a few months"
Luke: "It doesn't matter we love each other and take care of each other" Luke looks up at me and I lean down and kiss Luke and there's a knock on the door
Blake: "I should answer it" our lips part and Blake answers the door and his mom and step dad come in and his other family members
Dorothy: "Hey Blake you look good how's my grand baby?"
Blake: "Hey mom the baby is good"
Mike: "Hey Blake how are you?"
Blake: "Good" Dorothy hugs Blake
Dorothy: "I missed you"
Blake: "I missed you too, mom you remember Luke?" Blake pulls me close
Dorothy: "Yes I remember it's good to see you Luke"
Luke: "You too Mrs. Shelton"
Dorothy: "Call me Dorothy please"
Blake: "I've an announcement to make later"
Dorothy: "I can't wait"
Blake: "I'm hungry let's go eat and seat outside" everyone goes and gets food and eats outside and Blake, Luke, Dorothy, and Mike sit together
Dorothy: "So what have you boys been up to?"
Blake: "You know hunting and fishing and swimming" Luke and I give each other a smirk we only see
Dorothy: " Sounds fun"
Luke: "It is" Mike is now over talking with other family members and Blake is done eating and Luke gets up
Luke: "You done Blake?"
Blake: "Yes" Luke takes my plate and his and throws them away
Dorothy: "Luke is looking after you"
Blake: "Mom he's being nice you know I'm pregnant and after Adam passed" Blake holds back the tears
Dorothy: "I'm sorry"
Blake: "It's fine" Luke comes back with a beer and a sprite
Blake: "Luke you got me a beer thank you"
Luke: "No of course not you can't have one" Luke hands me the sprite and our hands touch and Luke winks but I can only see that he did
Dorothy: "What's the announcement?"
Blake: "Since I've some kind of drink I'll make the announcement now" Blake starts to get up and Luke takes my hands and helps me
Blake: "Thank you" Luke smiles and Luke whistles and gets everyones attention
Blake: "First off thank you all for coming I hope you're enjoying yourselves" everyone cheers and holds up there beers and I hold up my sprite
Blake: "I'm sure everyone is wondering why Luke is here..." Blake takes a deep breath and Luke whispers in my ear
Luke: "I'm right here babe it's okay go ahead"
Blake: "Luke and I have been seeing each other and are dating" Blake holds up his sprite
Blake: "So cheers to us and our future" everyone holds up their beer and takes a drink and says to Blake and Luke and someone shouts kiss! kiss! kiss! and Luke looks at me
Luke: "Let's give them what they want" Luke pulls me in close and I lean down and kiss Luke and everyone cheers and people come up to us and congratulate us and it's getting a little dark and most people leave and it's just me, Luke, my mom, and Mike and Blake gets firewood and Luke sees me building a fire
Luke: "Blake I should do that"
Blake: "I'm pregnant not disabled"
Luke: "I know but still"
Blake: "I'm still a man"
Luke: "I know I'm not saying that"
Mike: "You two go back and forth like a married couple"
Dorothy: "No kidding" Luke and I just shake our heads and go back to building the fire and after I'm done I get a lighter
Luke: "Be careful" Blake looks at me and rolls his eyes
Blake: "I got it Luke" Blake lights the firewood and sits down in a chair and Luke sits in my lap and we all bullshit with each other back and forth and a couple hours later Dorothy and Mike leave.
