Migo keeps on talking.
He's still the same after all these years.
His skin still looks majestic against the morning sun and his face is still as handsome as time. He still smiles so wide when he talks about something he loves and this time, it isn't just something. It was someone and if Rai heard it correctly, the name was... was... to be honest, he couldn't even remember, because, after all of Migo's talking, all she could process was that this man, right in front of her, who still hold the biggest chunk of her heart, is getting married already.

Yes, Migo, the guy who had been constantly running through her mind, completing her delusions and fueling her hopes that when the time comes, she comes back home, would be there to welcome her and accept her long lists of apologies; get back together with her in no time.

But instead, it will never happen because the guy finally found someone who he doesn't have to wait for too long. Someone who's there whenever needed and finally, someone he loves now, so much at that.

"I still can't believe that you're finally here. Are you staying for good?"

Rai's eyes and ears perked up. She absentmindedly shook her head and saw Migo nod. The wordless answer was enough, though but Rai still feels like she is to say something more and she did.

"Well... I was about to. I decided to finally settle down here for good."

Migo ate a piece of the cupcake on the table and looked at her listening.

"What happened? What's with the change of heart?"

Rai just smiled and blinked many times. It seems to herself that she is actually taking time to grasp for the correct words to say at this moment. She may have pouted and looked upwards, a manner she does when she needs to think of something serious but really not that true.

"Let's just say change of events. Living here is beautiful..."

'But it's not anymore.'

"...but it's just so different now. I think staying in New York will do me better."

Migo nodded understanding his point, completely believing and not really minding it anymore, which by the way, sends a thorn in Rai's heart. He used to complain so much about this woman staying in States for a long time, now, it's like he doesn't even give a fuck anymore. Or maybe he still did, and he just doesn't really care as much as he did before. When things are still as good as she realized it was.

"When will you be... When is the wedding?"

Rai tried initiating because she felt like with the shock it comes with, she felt looking stupid just at that moment.

Migo's smile went brighter, so wide it got his pangs showing and all. The type of smile. It's the smile that makes her wanna beg on her knees and asked him not to spill all the love in the world that he would never pour for her anymore.

"Well, we plan ahead of time about the coordination so it's going really smoothly. The only problem is that I need a photographer who I know would capture all the beautiful moments. The wedding's gonna be 2 months away now but I still couldn't find someone I know I can trust with my whole life about the photography."

"You mean someone that could par with you?"

Rai caught him off and he laughed a bit.

"Well... I mean it's my wedding. I just want everything to be... perfect."

Her breath was deep. The nod was slow, and it got her thinking. Migo must have loved this person very much. He must've cared so much.

"What about Hao? Is he not accepting?"
