I sit on a park bench for the two dorks until I see a familiar broccoli head followed by the pomeranian boy.
They see me and walk over, jumping and skipping as if they hadn't a care in the world.
Nice to see they still have some innocence.
They sit on either side of me, Midoriya on my life, Katsuki on my right.
I smiled elegantly, a practiced routine. "Hello, boys."
"Hello, Kamiko-san!"
"Hey, extra."
I turned to look at the ruby-eyed boy "Katsuki, you have yet to beat me in a fight. I wouldn't go around calling your betters an 'extra'."
"Ha?! BETTERS?!" He yelled, jumping up. "FIGHT ME! I'LL SHOW YOU 'BETTER'!"
I merely arched a brow and looked at Midoriya. "Will you be able to carry him out, or will I need to?"
"EH?" Katsuki screeched.
Midoriya grinned sheepishly. "Can you?"
I nodded, got up, and cracked my back. I led the explosive male to the sand pit, which was a lovely space for me to beat, sorry, battle Katsuki.
My feet held firm in the middle, my eyes closed. I inhaled and took a step back in my own body, letting instincts and training take over.
Kat charged at me and struck his fist out towards my gut.
I stepped back. I caught him by his wrist and shoulder. I pressed down on the pressure point on top of his bicep. I released him.
Katsuki stumbled, glaring back at me. His arm hung limp at his side.
I quirked my brow, smirking.
He leapt at me, aiming a kick at my ribs.
I grabbed his ankle, pushed it above my head. I moved quickly, striking the middle of his thigh.
His leg went limp as his arm.
I clucked my tounge. "Two limbs down, my friend. Do you accept defeat, or shall you fight me with one foot and hand?"
He huffed, throwing a flamming fist at my face.
I dodged. I grabbed his arm. I turned around. I threw him over my shoulder.
He hit the ground with a thump.
I placed my heel over his neck. "Cede."
He stared up at me defiantly for a moment before his face tinged red and he turned away. "I cede." He mumbled.
I moved my heel away and resumed beaming at him and Midoriya.
Katsuki coughed, turning over.
Midoriya gaped at me, about to cry. "HOW?"
I laughed, my smile not dropping. "Magic."
Midoriya grabbed me by my shoulders, sending a pleading look at me. "Teach me your ways, Kamiko-san!"
I patted him on the head. "Ha ha. No." I pulled away, spotting an ice cream truck not 30 feet away.
Izuku followed my gaze then looked back at me. He wiggled his eye brows. "You thinking what I'm thinking?"
"Drag Katsuki over and get ice cream?"
He nodded vigorously.
I winked and picked Katsuki up.
"PUT ME DOWN!"
"Don't you want ice cream?" Midoriya asked
"Shut up, Shitty Dek- OW!" The pomeranian yelped as I flicked him in the back of the head. "Bad."
"Tsk! No I don't want ice cream! We're 9. It's time to grow up." He huffed.
That's laughable. Time for some good 'Ole food pushing.
"Are you ~suuurrre~? Cold cherry and chocolate chip ice cream, freshly scooped onto a waffle cone and sprinkled with chocolate dust? Melting slowly on your tounge. You really don't want-" I taunted.
Katsuki huffed in my arm, cutting me off. "Yes, I want ice cream."
Works like a charm. "Good. Now let's go."
15 minutes later, we sat on the park bench, eating our ice cream.
"You have no taste, chocolate and cherries are better." Katsuki argued.
"Mint chip is way better! You are so wrong."
Midoriya stuck his tounge out at the ashey-blond.
"No," I announced, "you're both wrong. Cookie Dough ice cream reigns supreame."
Midoriya shook his head at me sadly. "You must have never tasted the truth. Mint chip is the best flavor, no doubt."
"Lies." I hissed.
Before either of the boys could argue, my phone started buzzing.
I sighed, smiling apologetically. I put the
phone to my ear. "Yes?"
"We've gotta go. The Heros are on the way." My 'fathers' gruff voice left no room for argument. "You have five minutes before they get here. Get to the house and get us out. Your things are already packed. We're going to the New York safehouse."
I bit the tip of my tounge. FUUUUUCKING WHHHHHYYYYY? I hung up the phone, sliding it into my pocket.
Katsuki and Midoriya looked at me quizzicaly, Midoriya swaying his too short legs.
I sighed, getting up. "I have to go. I won't... I won't be seeing you two again for a while." I turned my head away.
"WHAT?" Katsuki screeched, leaping out of his seat. His hands were fisted at his side.
"Wh-why?" Mr.Main Character squeaked, frozen on the bench.
I didn't respond, but I pulled a piece of paper and a pen out of my pocket. I scribbled down a phone number and hand it to Katsuki.
"What is this?" He bit out, taking the paper angrily.
"In the event of an emergency, an 'I'm dying' emergency not an 'I need icecream' emergency, call this number. The Calvary will show up within five minutes." I stopped, looking at the heart broken boys.
Midoriya was still frozen, blinking slowly with a look if disbelief.
Katsuki's jaw was clenched and his eyes were brimmed with tears.
"How long?" Midoriya asked somberly, as if he were morning me already. "How long until you come back?"
I looked at him meaningfully. "I don't know. Time's up, I have to go." I looked back and forth at the ruby-eyed blond and the broccoli head. "Goodbye."
"Wait!" Katsuki yelled after me.
I paused and looked back.
"Will we see you again?"
I smiled faintly. "You know it, Kit-Kat." I inhaled as I shifted into the Flash.
A wave of reflective glass running over my skin, casting beams of rainbows and light everywhere before it was done. Then my skin wasn't the same shade, and I was taller. And I was a male too, but that's besides the point.
I ran at the speed of light, turning through the city's streets until I was at the Manor.
My adoptive parents were on the steps, and Mother looked pissed.
Oh he done Fucked up.
I grabbed mother first, because favoritism. I ran her to the safe house. I ran back. I grabbed daddy dearest. I ran him to the safe house. I shifted back to myself.
Now to deal with the shit storm that is ✨️consequences of fathers actions✨️
