Astrid and Jy's Wedding... Oh Joy!

CHAPTER 4

I paced around my room. Today was Elena's birthday and there'd been no contact from Stefan. I had tried to call him numerous times and so has Elena and Damon but we get no answer. Klaus hasn't answered his phone either which makes me a little suspicious. On top of all that Jy still hadn't contacted anyone to tell us where he is and I was extremely worried but I knew that Astrid would bait me to try to save him if she wanted to kill him. Caroline was throwing a party for Elena's birthday so I planned on getting drunk. I heard Elena enter the house and used my heightened speed to appear in front of her.

"Hi Anna. You scared me there." Elena giggled.

"I remember the last time someone said you scared me there... that was fun." I remembered.

"I'm not going to ask." Elena muttered, a little scared.

"Happy eighteenth birthday. We're officially the same age." I laughed.

"Uh, thanks." Elena murmured.

"I know you told me not to get you anything but I honestly couldn't help myself." I told her. 

I pulled out a small, black leather box from my pocket and handed it to her. Elena opened it and gasped. Inside was a pretty bracelet that had a Lapis Lazuli with an E carved into it. The chain was actual silver. Elena put it on and hugged me.

"Thankyou so much." Elena said gratefully.

"It's the least I could do. I was going to buy you a car but then I remembered that one day you may need Lapis Lazuli. For christmas I'm getting you a matching necklace." I warned.

"Wow. Anna, you actually managed to remember someone's birthday." Damon joked.

"I remembered your birthday every year but you ran before I could give you your presents so I kept them all." I told him seriously.

Elena's party was starting in a few minutes. I was wearing a black cocktail dress that went to my mid thigh and black heels. My hair was straightened and I was wearing eyeliner. I walked downstairs as people started arriving. Caroline had told me that I had to sing once Elena was downstairs. As Elena walked downstairs with Damon, Caroline pushed me towards the microphone. Elena looked over in my direction confused. I noticed that Damon had given Elena the necklace that she got from Stefan, then lost.

"As most of you may know, we're here to celebrate my good friend, Elena Gilbert's birthday. It would be appreciated if you came up here Elena." I said. 

Elena walked over and everyone turned to look at her. She thought that Caroline would throw a small party not one of this size. Elena took the microphone.

"Uh, hi. Thanks for coming. I have no clue why Anna's doing her speech now." Elena said confused.

"I'm doing it now because I'll make a fool of myself later when I'm drunk." I muttered.

Everyone laughed and Elena handed the microphone back to me. She left the set up stage awkwardly and went over to Bonnie.

"Um... Well happy birthday Elena. You're an amazing person and you have an amazing personatlity and I'm glad I met you." I said awkwardly.

"Go on!" Caroline shouted from the crowd.

"Uh, yes. Happy Birthday to you, happy birthday to you, happy birthday dear Elena, happy birthday to you." I sung.

Everyone clapped and the party really started. My phone buzzed and I used my speed to go to the forest. I answered my phone and put it to my ear.

"Hello?" I asked.
