I was delusional
When I thought I could reach you
You were so close yet so far
I guess, I'll just keep on admiring you from a far.
You saw everything when everyone's asleep
You heard how the laughters died
You saw how the silence suddenly creeped
You heard two hearts with a rhyming beat.
Through you
I could say, "Were still on the same page"
Through you
I could say, "We are connected"
Im still delusional
For believing that maybe there's an invisible string
Tying him to me
That maybe we were a thing.
But then you illuminated the truth
That behind those rendezvous
We both still couldnt choose
We did not, we never chose each other.
Everything was just my delusion.
