I was sitting in the sofa and there's Nathan. I jus feel awkard around him. Josh finaly came home and I stood up.
"Hi my love!" I kissed him.
"Nathan's here! Have you told him we're getting married this Friday?" he kissed me back.
"Not yet"
Nathan just walked towards us.
"She hadn't told me. It's fine. Congratulations to the both of you!" Nathan giggled.
He's bitter.
I just smiled at him. I held my fiance's hand as we headed to the kitchen. Both of them sat and were ready to eat. I served them with my pesto and I sat down. I just felt so awkward like a high school student. I sat down and looked at both of them. Ugh... No way! I started eating and it's just silent.
"Honey, 2 days to go. Are you excited?" Josh smiled at me.
"I am. I do" I smiled back.
Nathan just continued to eat. He wasn't looking at us or what.
"Where will be the wedding?" Nathan asked.
"Paris" Josh smiled.
"Fine place for a fine couple"
"Thanks!"
"No problem"
"Hey did you and my fiance talked?"
"Not yet. She's busy, I think"
I am wide eyed.
"I'll talk to him later" I smiled to my fiance.
It just sucks that all of my memories were burning in me. Memories that were creeping through my whole body. Memories that were slowly swallowing me. I just breathed slowly. I got nothing in my mind to say. Honestly, maybe it's not Nathan who's bitter. Maybe I am.
I just collected their plates and decided to wash it.
