Ting Pov

We were with the duckling Pennhung and I were touching them. I went and sat with White while holding a duck in my hand.

"I always wanted a pet," I said.

Nai scoffed, "It's not your pet. It's your project for a week."

"Ignore him," I whispered to my duck. 

No one Pov

After Ting said that White and Maki were looking at Ting with a loving smile.

"Why do I have to take care of these ducks? Why?" White said. "I think they're cute. I wouldn't mind taking care of them." Ting said while playing with the duck in his hands. Ting looked at Maki and she was looking at Ting.

"If the ducks die under our care, we'll be punished. Who even knows how to take care of ducks?" Mork said. Ting looked around the room and saw White looking at him with a smile so Ting smile back.

"First, I think we should brainstorm what to do with these ducks," Maki said.

"Pennhung thinks we should start by finding them food and a new home," Pennhung said and I nodded.

"Food and home? Let's divide it into groups. One group looks for food. The other looked for a home. Pennhung and I will look for food." Maki said and Pennhung nodded. "Who will take care of the home? Any volunteers?" Maki said but no one said anything so Ting raised his hand. "I will do it with Nai," Ting said.

"Really? Since when did I agree?" Nai said confused.

"I will help too," Tibet said to me and Ting nodded.

"Okay, I'll be with Maki," White said.

"Biw and I too," Pheng said. Biw and Maki nodded.

"Let's go Pennhung. Let's find food for our ducks." Maki said and left while Pennhung waved at the ducklings. And White sees Pennhung wave to the ducks so she waves at the ducks too. Ting saw that and smile while saying 'cute' in a low voice so no one can hear him.

"Nai, let's go find some wood to build a duck coop," Tibet said and Ting put back his duckling.

"I'm wondering if I will be able to take care of these ducks." Nai said and Ting told him while he smiled at him, "You should be able to. You look like someone who would take care of ducks."

"I couldn't even keep my goldfish alive." Nai said Ting gave him a 'your joking' face and stood behind Nai and Tibet "I think you can do it." Tibet said.

"Really? You think I can take care of ducks?" Nai said.

"At least, you will not kill them," Tibet said and Nai looked at him with a confused face. Tibet got up and said, "Are you coming or not?"

"Alright," Nai said to Tibet.

"I'll help," Fuji said and went to the twins. "Let's go help them. Bring the ducks too."

"Oh." Ting chuckled at their faces and left.

"Are they heavy?"

"I don't know. Let's see"

"Oh, they are quite heavy" Then they followed them.

I was walking next to Nai. When we saw what looked like a den. "So we have no choice but to fix this, right?" Mek said.
