you sat on chair as megumi talked to shoko about ino's state, it seemed like he would be fine. "(y/n) you stay here, it's too dangerous and more importantly, you're injured" megumi said sternly "hah? you hit your head or something megs! i'm not even in pain" you pronounced, he looked at you with a suspicious look "i'm serious i'm fine, we can afford me staying back because of a simple injury...right shoko!" you looked at her as she examined ino's state "yeah sure whatever" she said not paying attention "see!" megumi rolled his eyes and summoned nue again, you smiled as that meant you won the argument.

you grabbed some bandages and a square shaped bandaid and hopped on nue, as nue prepared to sore you stopped megumi and he commanded nue to stay "megs can you get the gear gojo made for me" he nodded and a shadow rift appeared and he reached in grabbing some chin protesters and some fingerless gloves that reached up to your forearms and handed them to you "thanks!" you grabbed the gear and laid them in front of you along with the medical things, nue flapped his wings and took off, megumi turned around to face you and you both say crisscrossed in front of each other with the gear in the middle.

"what's the bandages for? didn't you say you mastered your reverse technique?" he questioned "ah yes i did! but using it does take a lot of energy it's better to use it on more serious injuries where no medical help is near" you explained. you took off your hoodie leaving you in your tube top "hey hold this" you handed your hoodie to megumi mindlessly "hey! why are you stripping!" he blushed heavily "it's not for you idoit!" you smacked him in the head, you grabbed the bandages and started wrapping it around your one of your forearms as when you hit the building and pieces of glass from the window went through it "hey there's still glass shards in there" megumi said grabbing your arm before you could place the bandage "i know that, i'm not gonna be able to pull them out by my self!" you yelled as he pointed out the obvious

"give me that!" he grabbed the bandage out of your left hand "sit here" he pointed at his thigh, you started to get up but the flaps of nue's wings made you stumble. "nue, slow down" he commanded, you balanced your way to megumi and stabilized your self on his left thigh and he took your arm and started picking out the glass shards, as he worked on your arm you stared at his face, his green eyes glimmering in the night sky. he looked so focused and calm, it made you forget about all the pain in your body, when all the glass shards were gone, he grabbed the bandage and wrapped it around your arm "here, give me your leg now" he said still focused on taking care of your wounds.

he plucked feathers out of nue and placed them around your leg "what are you doing?" you said puzzled "nue's feathers have a strong middle and your chin seems to be on the edge of being broken, this should hold until this battle is over" he said wrapping the bandage over the feathers, when he was done he grabbed the gear gojo made for you and placed them on you strapping on the buckles on you and making sure their secure. the whole time you couldn't take your eyes on off him, everytime he touched you, you grew redder. he might die today, i might die today, tomorrow isn't promised. "it should be good now, just try not to do anything risky" he said while you were in a whole other world, he finally grabbed the bandaid and unwrapped it and started placing it on your face, all you could was stare at his lips, blush dusted your face and ears even down to your shoulders. being so flustered at him taking care of you and meanwhile he was completely clueless, when he was done he finally started paying attention to your state "hey, why are you so red-"

he was cut off by your lips, his eyes grew wider until he finally smiled into the kiss and closed them, you pulled back and smiled at him "what- what was that for!" he acted like you had punched him or something, you smiled looking down at the ground beneath you "sato told me to not waste this and what i saw today made me realize what he meant" you melted into his chest and he pulled you close, wrapping his arms around you. he fell back and you in return fell too, he looked at the stars above you, while you laid on his chest listening to his heart beat with a blissful smile. you and him laid there in comfortable silence, "hey...can you do that...again?" he said, you looked up at him, his face was now redder than yours which made you burst out laughing.
