Sithiel POV

I immediately turn around, hearing Legolas' voice, answering to Sam's question. It couldn't be?! Did I miss him too much that I'm imagining things?

I whip my head and find his cerulean orbs and I gasped in such shock and happiness. I ran quickly to him and I hug him so tight, inhaling his earthly, sweet scent.

"I missed you a lot, melamin, [My love]" His hands cupped my chin and he tucked my hair behind my ear, while gazing so lovingly into my eyes. I start tearing up, realizing how much I kept my sadness to myself the past few months from missing him. Before I could reply, his lips were already pressed against mine with so much passion, I kissed him back fiercely. It felt like that moment lasted forever before he broke the contact and wiped the tears from my eyes. Only then did I find myself able to speak.

"I missed you too so much, Legolas. But never did my love for you grow less but only more with each passing day," I said smiling widely while looking at those eyes of his.

"I-" Legolas was about to say when, "Shh..Quiet Pippin!" I heard Merry whisper, more like scold Pippin from behind. Oh my! I forgot the hobbits are actually there, they must've seen everything, not that I regret doing that though.

"Oh dear, I completely forgot," I muttered to myself, turning around to face the hobbits. I can feel my cheeks heat up when I looked at their embarassed faces.

"Melamin, [My love] these are my brave hobbit friends and I must say, very charming as well," I said making them blush more, "Sam, Merry, Pippin and Frodo" Legolas smiled and nodded his head to each one of them. But when it came to Frodo, I saw suspicion and a searching look in Legolas' demeanor, he must have sensed the evil ring. Frodo took a little step backwards, revealing the ring swaying from his chest, Legolas saw this and his eyes widened a little at Frodo. I was starting to worry that Frodo might be creeped out.

"You are a very strong hobbit Frodo, may you still find happiness and peace despite what you are bearing," Legolas finally said giving Frodo a genuine smile. Frodo returned a grateful nod.

"My friends, this is Legolas, Prince of Mirkwood. We're uhm..Together," I said looking down as my face flushed red, not knowing how to explain it to them.

"We love each other," Legolas said boldly, backing me up while squeezing my hand.

"Its actually very obvious," Pippin piped up casually, soon receiving an angry glare from Merry, which made me giggle.

"That's very sweet! Uhm..Uhm..We are..uhm..Going to do some stuff..Bye for now..Sithiel, Prince Legolas," Merry said while bowing his head, soon followed by the others.

"Please just call me Legolas, thank you for keeping her company."

"Thank you dear Hobbits for giving me such a great time. I hope to see you tomorrow," I thanked them, before kissing their foreheads.

Soon enough it was only me and Legolas that were left. Now I could blurt out everything that I want to say.

"Hey you! Ada said you would arrive a week from now, you're early!" I smacked his arm playfully.

"Don't you want me here yet?" He asked me, a mock hurt expression on his face.

"Oh no-" I immediately became aware that he was slightly swaying and stumbling while we were walking. I faced him, my hand was on his shoulder and my other hand caressed his cheek lightly. Only now did I see the bags on his eyes and how tired he looked. I frowned and gave him a quick peck on the lips before giving him a concerned look.

"Lle tyava quel? [Do you feel well?] Oh Legolas, don't tell me you didn't eat and rest while going here! You spent all your time riding didn't you?"

"Sorry, I just wanted to see you," He said giving me an apologetic look.

"Don't be silly, I'm not mad. I'm just worried for you. Come on, you must rest," I almost dragged him to his room.

As soon as he changed into comfortable clothes (He did that in the bathroom so I didn't see okayy???) and combed his hair, he stumbled sleepily into his bed and I followed after him.

"Goodnight Melamin," I said quietly, while stroking his hair gently. I was lying down beside him and his arms were around me, keeping me warm and making me feel secure. My head lay on his chest and my forehead was pressed gently on his lips. I then looked up at his eyes and then brought my hand to his cheek, caressing it with my fingers.

"Amin mela lle, Sithiel," I hear him whisper. He then held my hand and kissed it deeply. After a few moments, I felt his steady breathing and I knew that he has fallen asleep.

"I love you too, Legolas, always."
