" For the love of God ! Jimin, fucking stop crying. He's not dying. And Yoongi, instead of walking like you gotta pee, help me make the juice. You're not helping at all." The volume in which Jin was shouting was enough to make Tae regret waking up. Maybe he was better asleep. From the moment he woke up one hour ago all they were doing was giving him an even worse headache. "Jimin-ah, please stop crying. I am okay and Yoongi hyung, you're making me dizzy with all your walks." As soon as he said those words, he knew he would regret it. And he was proved right when Jin and Yoongi panicked over him and Jimin broke into a fresh batch of tears...again. "Guys just chill a bit. I am not going to die just because I overworked for a month or two. I am gonna be okay. You're being too much" The words came out harsher than intended and before he could even correct himself, Yoongi glumly said "you're saying that because you don't know how it feels to see your best friend lie on a hospital bed unconscious for 4 hours straight with an IV drip and knowing you can't do anything so that he can be normal. You don't know how shit scared and helpless we felt. So, sorry if you feel we're being too much." He regretted his words even more and looked over to his other two best friends who literally froze in their places. Yeah he's pretty screwed right now Tae thought to himself. He should've remembered that his friends were pretty scarred from his last hospital fiasco. All the days spent in his room polishing his writing skills made him lose his EQ maybe. He should work on his social skills right now. "Hyungie! I am okay, right? You all are here and I know nothing will happen to me as long as you guys are there for me. I am sorry. I will take care of myself better from now on. Please please forgive me this once." He pleaded as he brought his irresistible weapon : his puppy eyes. "Aah not those eyes " Yoongi and Jimin thought to themselves as they found themselves surrendering to the baby their best friend was. At least Jin was stricter than them they thought expectantly glancing over him and yeah they were pretty much wrong. But Jin remembered what the boy did to himself and tried his absolute best to resist his charms. "Not even those eyes can save you today, boy. You're leaving your book for the time being and you're gonna come to the restaurant. I know that you got a summer break in your university. So I ain't listening to any excuses. You can bring your laptop or something if you actually wanna get some work done but other than that no more concessions." Jin said his tone leaving no room for argument. Tae analysed their faces and knew instinctively that his chances of survival would be low if he said anything opposite than what they want. He weighed his options, their concerns and silently agreed on his hyung's words. "Yeah hyungie! Now please give me that juice and something to eat maybe. Taetae's hungwy." His friends sighed as they took their respective roles : Yoongi giving silent support, Jimin being the official feeder and Jin juicing more oranges.
Somewhere in Italy Safehouse "This is my final call, Agent Nyx! Release him." Jungki's voice thundered in the speakers. "Nyx! You're going to kill him if you punch him once more. Stop it." Amon said making no real effort to actually stand up and stop him from punching the man. "Give me one good reason to not kill this motherfucker " Nyx said as he stopped mid punch still glaring holes into the man's face or whatever was left of it. "No reason for real but we will have extra paper work." Amon said finally standing up and cracking his stiff bones. "Ah this is nice. Now let's go." Amon said taking Nyx who already left the man after hearing the word paperwork. "You didn't tell me you were coming back." Nyx said pouring some alcohol onto the fresh wounds and drinking the rest. "Aaww did my lil bro miss me? Aaww gguk-ah! Some might think- " Amon didn't even complete his sentence when Nyx punched him straight in the face. "I thought I was forgiven." Amon thought to himself as he rubbed his jaw where his brother just hit him."Why the fuck would you go into the enemy's territory when there's no backup? Are you that desperate to die? Are you that stupid?" Nyx asked the man after helping him stand up again. "It wasn't like that, gguk-ah. It was just necessary at that moment. I got the data and I am alive. Now that's a double kill." Amon said trying to not smirk after seeing his brother so riled up. "You will get killed attempting one of these double kills, I'm telling you Joonie hyung. I ain't searching for your body in the oceans then." Nyx said silently praying there would never come a day where his words come true. "I am that 0.01% bacteria, my boy. I am never dying. Now let's go to the cafeteria and eat something. That punch made me lose calories. And that was one awesome technique. When did you learn that-" Joon said dragging the man ignoring his grunts of protest. Nyx looked at his brother who was also his mentor in a way. He got his recklessness and many of his moves from him. His Joonie hyung took care of him in some of his most vulnerable moments and never left him. Anyone who would see him like this would think he's a softie or something. But even he , being one of the best agents ever, is scared of him just a bit but still. Namjoon as his Joonie hyung is wise beyond his years, always up for an art museum, never the one to judge, the one to offer a shoulder. But Namjoon as Agent Amon is someone who's best as an ally never an enemy. He was a nightmare dressed as a daydream. He would smile while carving the enemy's heart out. He would destroy your whole world, burn it down to earth before your own eyes all the while drinking scotch and smiling at you innocently. He wasn't this unhinged before. He lost all of his self preservation tendencies the moment HE left. HE was his Achilles heel. He is smiling like all is fine but he still hasn't recovered from the loss. Losing HIM broke both of them but Joon was even more broken.. So all in all he would definitely say his hyung is his strength and fear both in one. Just for this reason, he was the only one who knows parts of his past and his name. "Don't look at me like that. It wasn't even that hard." Nyx shrugged carelessly. Amon at this moment wanted to disappear anywhere. Even the warzone sounded like vacation right now. Jungki laughed. He ... laughed. That's it. Both of them are going to die from the rants. He readied himself for all the yelling coming their way. "It wasn't even that hard... IT WASN'T EVEN THAT HARD? HE ALMOST DIED FROM BLOOD LOSS ITSELF. THAT'S IT , BOY. YOU'RE NOT GOING TO INVESTIGATE ANYMORE. AND AMON YOU WERE SENT IN TO STOP THE VIOLENCE . NOT TO GIVE MORE IDEAS. FROM NOW ON BOTH OF YOU ARE JUST GOING TO DO FIELD MISSIONS. YUGYEOM OR SOMEONE ELSE WILL TAKE CARE OF THE INVESTIGATION." Jungki literally lost all his marbles when he saw the state of the once famous Mr. Lombardi after the investigation. Nyx got every possible information needed from him but the sight was ... gruesome to put it simply. It's an art if he could say how Lombardi was tortured ... almost dead but will feel every bit of pain. "Calm down, old man. He's alive. I made sure of it. He will live through the trials and all. The new mission, send details to my room. Now if you excuse us both, we are going to have a friendly match." Nyx said leaving the cabin without turning back." Don't mind him , sir. He's just like that. And yes I am definitely not sorry for the ideas but thanks for the field missions. The file will be delivered to my room, i suppose. Buh bye. Don't miss me." Amon said ducking his head to escape the file thrown at him. "Aim better next time, old man." Amon laughed leaving the cabin to hear more about how Nyx caught Lombardi and maybe have a nice fight along with that. "So how did you catch him?" Namjoon asked sending a kick right into Nyx's stomach. "Ugh... I trapped his daughter. She introduced me to him. A private family dinner in her apartment, few men in black entering forcibly, shots of anaesthesia to her -" Gguk said kicking him hard on the leg and tried to head lock him when he fell from the impact. "Fuck" Joon tried to escape from the head lock and did it successfully after some headbutting blindly. "That's a dirty move but yeah anyways I sedated him and then moved him out. Then I acted like I was punched and fainted. Her CC cams were hacked and she thinks it's all because of a business problem." He said again trying for a head lock but settling for a punch to shoulder. "Uhh fuck! I think you broke it, you fucker. But what about her now? " Joon continued as he aimed for his blind spots. "Oh shit! That one was close. I broke up with her saying I can't do it with all these risks." He said panting and grunting from all the fight. "That was great, my boy." Joon said as he escaped from a punch to his face and gave one final roundabout kick to his abdomen. "That was a sick move. Teach -" Gguk was about to continue when the speakers rang "Agent Amon and Nyx, report in 10 minutes. I repeat-" "Looks like we can't continue anymore, hyung." Gguk said getting up from the floor. "Let's continue this some other time ,kid." Joon said it as a solemn promise. These sudden missions never did them any good and this was like a silent promise to stay alive no matter what. "Obviously, hyung." He said also silently agreeing to it. "The mission was to start in another 3 weeks. What happened suddenly?" Agent Amon asked as he went over the details of the mission once again to make sure he got everything. "It was the supposed plan. But our agents today found a lot of unusual movement on the enemy's side. They reported that the Cult are getting ready for something big and we don't have much time and resources to go according to the plan. The most we might get is 10 months or even less. And don't forget that we still don't know who the leader is. So I need you to get them before that. And this is your target, Nyx. Amon is going to be your back up and anything basically. And now get ready to go back to our homeland" Jungki said in a final tone. Nyx grinded his teeth thinking about the leader of Cult. He grew this much as an agent and so did his revenge. But still he wasn't able to find who that person was. And his blood rushed at the thought of unraveling everything and getting his revenge. He is going back to the place where everywhere started. He looked at his target's information once again and traced his fingers on that person's photo."University student, huh" he thought to himself. Hopefully this person would be his breakthrough to his revenge.
