"Wahahaha, of course! Admire my excellence!" Veldora laughs proudly.

'But, why are you in that magic wall thing?'

"Oh, um it doesn't really matter, but ummm... hey, aren't you a special monster, slimes don't normally have a conscience!" He says, looking away nervously.

'Are you avoiding my question... wait slime! That's what I am?!'

"Yes, but you must be a unique."

'What's a unique?'

"It's a being with extraordinary abilities."

'Oh uhm, I'm not that special..' I look away, slightly embarrassed at the compliment.

"Wahaha, I think you are, so don't deny it, little one!"

'Really..?'

"Of course, I, Veldora acknowledge that you are quite interesting! So, tell me more about yourself."

It feels really nice to finally have someone to talk to and I can't help but open up.
I tell him about my old life, how I used to be human in another world, how I accidentally killed myself with a fork of all things and everything that's happened since then.

"So... you reincarnated, huh."

'This has happened to people before?!'

"Not really, or at least I don't think so, they never died in their worlds, and they kept their old bodies."

'Oh...'

"Hey, don't be sad, since you told me about your past I'll tell you a couple stories from my past!"

'Please do!'

"Yahahaha, make yourself comfortable."
"I used to fly around the world, having fun with my eternal life."
He told me fun stories about stuff he'd been through for days, but I couldn't help but wonder. 'Why are you here in this cave now and not out there, you seem so lonely here.' 

"Well..." he sighs. "I'll tell you another story."
"Almost 300 years ago I got a bit caught up in having fun and accidentally burned down a human settlement.
They then sent a hero after me and after an amazing fight that I only lost because I underestimated them, I was sealed down here."

'So you've been here ever since then?'

"Yeah..."

'That must be so boring!'

"It is!"

'Hey, let's be friends!'

"A mere slime proposes friendship with me, the feared storm dragon?!"

'Well, you did say you were lonely, or don't you want to?'

"Dint misunderstand, I do!"

'Then, we're friends!'

"Okay!"

'Now what do we do about this deal thing?'

"What do you mean?"

'Don't you wanna get out? Let's try to find some way so we can go around having fun together!'

"I do, but.. how?"

'Uhmmm'

I roll up to the barrier and analyze it while Veldora gives me a funny look.
