Day three
"She wants to stay here in Seattle, and if you take her I will call the police on you," Ailis said. They were in the middle of the lobby of the hospital. Mia's parents were on her last nerve, desperately trying to get Mia to go with them to Colorado and leave Ailis and Mors behind. Ailis got a call from a nurse that Mr. Saros was attempting to discharge Mia without her permission, and when she arrived she found them with three plane tickets trying to force Mia to pack her bag and check herself out.
"This accident was a gift from god," Mr. Saros started. "God wants her to go back to the life she had. Not this sinful lifestyle. It's my duty as her father to take her back to that."
"You're not her fucking father! You haven't been her father in twenty years!" Ailis shouted. "She left you because you were horrible parents and this whole ordeal isn't your imaginary little sky daddy giving you a second chance, it's you being a manipulative piece of shit and taking advantage of an injured woman! I'm her wife, we're her family, and this is her home. You're not taking her anywhere."
"You try something and I'll fucking murder you," Rae said coldly. "You're not laying a finger on my best friend."
"I'm not letting some tranny lesbian and its bastard kid damn my child to hell!" He shouted back.
"Don't call my mom that!" Mors stormed forward and got in his face. Ailis grabbed him and pulled him back, not wanting him in swinging distance. "My mom has asked you to leave nicely. Now I'm gonna go tell that nice security guard over there that THIS MAN IS TRYING TO KIDNAP MY MOM!" He shouted.
"Get out of the hospital before I drag you out. I spent six years at war, I am capable of things you and your little god couldn't even think of," Ailis spat. "I will put your geriatric ass in a knot."
"I will not let you take my Mia, you demon," Mrs. Saros said firmly.
"She stopped being your Mia the moment you decided to marry her off to a nice Catholic man twice her age," Rae scoffed. "Now drag your saggy tits out before I have the guards do it."
"Is there a problem here?" The security guard asked as he walked over.
"No," Mr. Saros tried to say.
"Yes actually, these two just tried to kidnap my amnesiac wife against her will and wishes. They're not even supposed to be here in the first place. I want them out and kept away from Mia Saros," Ailis told him. "If I need to get the authorities involved I will."
"She threatened to injure us!" Mr. Saros responded angrily.
"No I didn't," Ailis responded incredulously. "I just told you to leave."
"Sir you're here against the family's wishes, you need to leave. You can come back when you've calmed down. Ma'am you three should head upstairs," the guard said.
"Thank you," she told him gratefully, wiping away a few tears. "Please keep an eye on them, they're trying to put her on a plane and take her away from me and her son."
"She's lying! You seedy little bitch!" He glared. The security guard put a hand on his chest, pushing him back.
"This is Officer Torres, I need back up in the lobby," he said into his walkie. Ailis grabbed Rae and Mors and started pulling them away to the elevator.
"Teach them to mess with my wife," Ailis grumbled, pressing the elevator button a few times.
"Way to gaslight, girlie," Rae laughed.
"Mors never do what I just did unless you have to," Ailis said quickly as they boarded the elevator and headed up to Mia's floor. Beth came running over, she was in her regular clothes.
