Mikey humes as he pets a dog and feeds him a treat for begin such a good patient.
Mikey was an animal lover so he went to college to become a vet. He didn't care about the money he cared about the animals especially the cats.
An elderly woman walks into the vet. Mikey walks the dog on a leash handing it to woman who smiles at him.
"Here you go Ms. Jane" Mikey said.
"Thank you Mikey is there anything wrong with Coco?" Ms. Jane asks as she pets her dog.
"He has something wrong with his high legs but just give him this pill" Mikey said as she gives her a pill bottle.
"Will do" Ms. Jane smiles as she walks out of the vet.
"Meow"
Mikey turns around to see a black cat with yellow eyes. Mikey smiles as the cat comes to him and purrs on his leg.
"You look familiar" Mikey said with a smile.
"Well it looks like you still like cats silly one"
Mikey gasps at the voice with a thick Japanese accent but he hasn't heard it in 5 years. He looks up and sees a black hair woman and a 12 year old boy. Mikey smiles at the two.
"Shini!" Mikey shouts as he hugs her and spins her around. "I'm so happy to see you it's been years"
Shini laughs.
"I missed you too" Shini said with a laugh as she hugs Mikey back.
Shini was the ex-crimanal and antihero Shinigami. She was Mikey's former partner before she went back to Japan with her brother Chika.
Mikey puts Shini down and she walks to the boy.
"And you know my brother Chika" Shinigami said.
"Oh man Chika I didn't recognized you, you look alot older" Mikey said as he gives the now 12 year old Chika a high five.
"I missed you Mikey" Chika said with a smile.
"I missed you too dude" Mikey said.
Shinigami picks up the cat.
"You remember my cat Midnight" Shinigami said as she holds the cat.
"Oh yeah I remember her, hi midnight" Mikey said as he pets Midnight.
Midnight purrs against his hand.
"So what brings you guys back to New York?" Mikey asks.
"Meeting a client at Saki Corp for saving a lion mountain habit in Lodon" Shinigami said.
"Oh your an animanl activities" Mikey said.
"Yep but I need your help" Shinigami said.
"What's wrong?" Mikey asks.
"You see there's something wrong midnight her paws are hurting her" Shinigami said as she hands Midnight to Mikey.
"I'll check her out see what's up" Mikey said as he places her on a table.
He checks Midnight and finds she had a sore paw. Mikey puts some cream on her paw.
"Midnight just has a sore paw but all you need is put this cream on her paw" Mikey said as she gives the cream to Shinigami.
"Thank you Mikey I owe you one" Shinigami smiles.
"Maybe I can take you on a date to the high school reunion" Mikey said nervous.
"That would be nice I'll see you then" Shinigami smiles.
"Great it's a date !" Mikey smiles.
"Here's my number" Shinigami said with a wink as she hands a pieces of paper.
Shinigami and Chika walk out of the shop. Mikey pumps his fists.
"Yes!" Mikey cheers.
