It was today. I was gonna go get food with renjun. I checked the time.

10:09AM

Damn 2 hours left. I might even leave a bit earlier. I started preparing. I took a bath, did my skincare, did my makeup and chose my clothes.

I finished and went downstairs. I saw my mom watching TV while laying on the couch.

"Good morning 어머니 (mother) ~" I exclaimed as I kissed her cheek. She looked at me and smiled.

"야 what's with you? Going on a date? Better be with that chenle dude... I like him so you better date him." Mom exclaimed while I was taken a back and blushed.

"Tsk whatever mom but I'm meeting a friend not him." I mumbled while she smirked.

"Whatever you say darling !" Mom exclaimed while I left the house.

I was heading my way to the cafe, I entered and saw renjun already there. He greeted me and smiled.

"Hey kiki !" He exclaimed while I smiled

"Sup shorty" I joked while he looked at me, offended.

We both took our orders and renjun payed for both. We then made our way to a vacant table.

"So why did you suddenly want to eat out with me? Do you have something in mind?" I questioned while he smiled and nodded.

"I know you like chenle." Renjun spoke while I was shocked. What?

"Ey, 무슨 소리야...? (What are you talking about)" I exclaimed, fake laughing while he looked at me with a straight face which caused me to stop laughing.

"I... Don't like chenle." I spoke while he groaned.

"gosh, 为什么你们俩都这么笨，真烦人 !(why are you both so fucking dense, it's getting so annoying)" Renjun exclaimed which got me startled.

"야... 하지마... (Stop) people are staring" I whispered while he just scoffed.

Renjun then took my hand which cause me to look at him. We made eye contact.

"야 , 义 罗费 (Yi Luofei) 바보야 ( you fool) , You do know I like chenle right? So if you don't make your move on him. I will literally date him and I can tell he'd say yes to me cause damn who wouldn't?" Renjun exclaimed, which made me rethink.

Do I actually like Chenle? Well I do. It's just, does HE like me?

"Fine yes I do like chenle, happy?" I blurted out as I sarcastically rolled my eyes while he chuckled.

Just then our food arrived. He looked at me seriously.

"But seriously though, I know you're just scared to get rejected but I promise you it'll be worth it to take the risk." Renjun spoke while I felt quite comforted.

"If he seriously dumps you though I will beat him up for you and I'll be the shoulder you'll cry on, okay?" Renjun added which made me chuckled as I nodded.
