:ch 15: Hungry for Pepperspray

You nodded in reponse, as she sighed once more. "I fear you won't find them here. Most humans have ceased to come down to this floor for quite some time now." She spoke as you frowned slightly. "We can help with getting you back to the upper floors, but allow us to introduce ourselves first. Ehem... I am Queen Bouncelia, the ruler of the kingdom." She turned her head to Toadster. "And this is Sheriff Toadster, the protecter and only other citizen of the kingdom. I apologize on behalf of both myself and the sheriff for the rough reception. We've all been a little on edge lately.... I'm sure you can understand" You nodded again to the Queens response. Bouncelia turned her head to the sheriff "How's the elevator back up doing, sheriff?" She asks him "Not too well. It's missing some crucial parts. Three to be exact" He spoke. "Do you know where these parts are?" She asks tilting her head. "Yes, your majesty. I was previously too occupied to go and collect 'em" He spoke still kneeling down. "The coming hours will be rough for us all, but this is not your battle, parent." She said glaring at you. "Sheriff, accompany the parent and go grab the missing parts." "But Your Majesty, We should be focused on protecting you!" He said worringly. "It's fine, I killed my husband. I should be fine on my own" She spoke leaving the both of you a lil shocked.

 "Yes your majesty" He stood up "Alright. You heard the lady" He begin walking with you beside him. "So... Where exactly are my friends...?" You asked him. "Jail" He spoke leaving you stunned. "Don't be surprised. They have done many wrong things that I cannot explain." He said. "But, we will need your spider friends just for a second. Stay here. I'll grab 'em" You did what you were told. You stood beside the castle gates as you saw Nabnab and Nabnaleena handcuffed while walking with the sheriff. They both smiled once they saw you. "Y/n!" Nabnaleena tried to wave. But failed due to the handcuffs. You waved back smiling as you hug her. "So... What do you need us for...?" Nabnab asks tilting his head a little. "You'll see" The sheriff said in response as Nabnab sighs.

You all arrived to the station as you looked around seeing nothing. He stopped where he was walking then spun around. "The three parts of the elevator are scattered across three stations, which we can get to using this old transport system. I believe it's two tickets per rider. Two for me, two for you and your spider-friends, and two for little-beak here. There should be some scattered around here..." He looks around "If not then, partner.. We're walking." After he finished that sentance you quickly went to search for tickets. 

You hated walking. Why you may ask? Take a guess. How many steps have you made while in search of your child? Hmm.. Let's count.. One... two... Three... Ugh! It's taking to long! Huh? oh yeah back to the story.

You managed to pick up eight tickets. Now you needed to find two for you.. Your eyes locked onto a hand sticking out of the shadows. What was it? God who knows. Your curiousity led up to you walking towards the arm but of course once you got to it, it vanished.. You sigh in annoyance as you picked up the last ticket the putting it into the disposal thingy. The tickets were all claimed as that weird robo-copy of Banban came out of its so-like cage then went onto the transport system. You six got onto the transport system. Suddenly you felt two arms wrap around you. It was just the sheriff. Suddenly the train started moving VERY fast, maybe thats the reason why he was holding onto you, so you wouldn't fall off. Once you arrived you hopped off the station carrying the little opila in your hand. "We're here, partner. Let's get this over with." Said the sheriff as he walked in the middle of the door. "the part we need should be in the administration room within the ventilation corridors, but it looks like the door is locked"  he says looking at the door like it was gonna do shit. You sigh in annoyance as your eyes wandered to a door. You placed the baby opila onto the platform before summoning the drone and making it push that button. The door came open as you walked in it. The room was dark, but you didn't mind. Suddenly the door shut "Oh what?! What's happening?!" The sheriff came rushing to the door. "You stay in there and don't move. I'll figure out a way to get the door open!" He shouted as he started to walk away. You looked behind you seeing a purple hand sticking out of the shadows... What was that? 

"Hi! I'm a hungry snake. Do you have any food?" Speaking of food, you had an apple. You took an apple out of your backpack then handed it to him. "Uh... Not what I expected but thanks!" You heard munching coming from the shadows "Dang this is good.... Anyways..." Bittergiggles suddenly came dashing towards you not expecting you having pepperspray right in your hands. 

You then sprayed him in the eyes causing him to fall onto the floor "OW OW!!!!" He screams in pain rolling on the floor covering his eyes "IT BURNS!!!" He cried in pain and agony. You walked towards the door seeing Nabnab, Nabnaleena, Toadster and the baby opila chick all flabbergasted. "Wha the fuuuc-" Nabnaleena placed her hand on Nabnabs mouth before he could cuss. 

You all walked away from Bittergiggles as he yelled: "YOU WILL PAY FOR WHAT YOU'VE DONE Y/N!! MARK MY WORDS!!!" He shouts as you roll your eyes.
