something isn't right

part twenty three: the prickles on the other side. ruby returns.

Bubble's poz:

I woke up in my lab, guess I fell asleep, so I checked on the others. A lot of them were already awake, but some were still asleep.
So I saw the bottle next to the three still asleep so I went to pick it up, once I put it away, I heard a sound, and I think it was about to rain. So I made sure we wouldn't get to wet, when suddenly a strike of lightning, almost hit us, waking the others up.

Blocky's poz:

I woke up and saw taco comforting woody, who was looking around, hugging her. What was that sound? Asked gelatin. It's not good so we'll be fine as long as it doesn't hit us, said bubble looking around. Well this tree is pretty high, so we better find a new spot before we all die, said taco. So everyone starting packing so if we could leave. Taco walked down first showing it was safe. So we all started climbing down to get ready for the long trip, but why isn't she using her vines, she can't really walk. Maybe she used bubble's potions. We then came across a prickly side of the forest, so taco ran right in and we followed, luckily she led us where the prickles we're not bad, so we got out with no scratches. We then saw a tree that was not to high but was high enough, so taco made a ladder for us to climb up.

Teardrop's poz:

We were all getting use to this new tree to stay in, when we heard a pine tree knock down, we were smart to have gotten out of that area. It was still raining so we stayed in the tree, while some jumped down to explore this new location. I then tried to use my powers but they wouldn't work, and my symbol strated fading, gelatin tried his powers but they weren't working either, maybe were sick, but me and him felt fine, so we went to see if the others felt the same so we walked over to leafy and woody, hey guys do you have no powers either, asked Woody. Yeah, you too? Asked gelatin. Yeah, I guess were sick? Leafy asked trying not get nervous. No I think it's worse sadly, said woody. Let's just explore with the others, I mean what's left to lose, said leafy. The rain had already stopped, so we climbed down to see the others. Blocky was heading back with martials for some shelter, balloony and flower were going back with food, and bubble was looking for stuff for potions or gadgets. So we went to just look around and explore, then we spotted a ruby and taco, so we ran over. Ruby your ok, how did you get back to normal!? Asked leafy. Well taco did and I'm ok, my head just hurts, she said.
She had a light blue flower crown on her head. Wait does taco still have her powers?
Taco do you still have your powers, I asked with sign language. Sadly no, just when I saved ruby I lost my powers, but I'm glad ruby is fine, she said with a grin, slightly nervous. We should go back, said leafy. So we took taco with us as we headed back to the tree, and we all climbed up. Ruby was looking for her friends when flower ran up and hugged her, as bubble walked up smiling. I was happy that they reunited, I know it was days since they seen each other, but wait what about lollipop and loser? Are they even alive?

Woody's poz:

I led taco to a place to rest, so she was sitting down, staring at her hands, so I went to get blocky and some bandages. Once I patched her hands up blocky came over to just talk to her, taco then told me to stay, so I sat down and stayed with them.

Gelatin's poz:

TD and me were just thinking, when she tapped me, she then whispered, you think lollipop is dead, since we haven't spotted her in a while. I hope not, she's our best friend, I said nervously. So then we heard bubble calling for us so we walked over. When we were there we spotted the others standing there, besides taco sitting. So did any of you feel sick when loosing your powers? asked bubble. but we all shook our heads, we knew it was weird, but they really just disappeared with no trace of sickness. So we all left, to go back to eat since it was almost time to sleep once again. So we ate, but most of us were worried about, if well ever survive here. So most of us stayed silent until taco made a random comment, about bananas, that made us laugh, so we then chatted about fruits. After that we all set down our sleeping bags to sleep, and teardrop and I fell fast asleep.

Leafy's poz:

Me and firey were checking the place one more time before we went to bed, then we spotted a strange design on the tree, so we got curious, don't touch- it.... I said, but nothing happened when he touched it, guess it was just a mark. So me and him went to our sleeping bags and I fell fast asleep, wondering what that mark could mean.

Woody's poz:

blocky was already asleep when taco and I came back, so I got into my sleeping bag, while taco stayed with us while I was trying to sleep. I closed my eyes, and fell fast asleep, hoping tomorrow I'll get my powers back.

Flower's poz:

Bubble and ruby were asleep so I walked around to see the forest one more time then I went into my sleeping bag and fell asleep.
Hoping tomorrow will be a better day.

Taco's poz:

I can still guard the crew for the night, so I had my spear and watch for anything that could hurt us or trick us, so I watch for some time, and I spotted two "puppets". So I used my hands to walk over, to get ready to attack just in case, they were searching for us, cause I think they knew we left, soon they left when I scared them with a knife, I probably won't get that back. I was just about to go down, when a glow came from the back of the tree, so I went over to see it.
It was a strange marking, but I didn't know what to do with it, then it flashed, so I jumped back. Soon it stopped glowing and the mark vanished, I was surprised, so I then went over to my friends to keep an eye on the dangers below, maybe that glowing was nothing....
