Chapter 27

Jungkook held onto the strip of his backpack. He was standing on the side of the corridor. Their professor was absent and the rumours have that he'd be absent for a week. The substitute teacher somehow couldn't find a better time to check his testpaper than this period when he was supposed to be cover the lags of the students. Jungkook and jimin were waiting for their other friends to decide where would they go to bunk the period.

"Hey! What're you both doing here?" Harlie waved at them as she hops towards the boys.
"Bunking classes."Jungkook rolled his eyes at her.

"Sehoon had the next class with you both." She sighed.

"Means I got a free period too." The mentioned guy appeared out of nowhere.

She looked at her boyfriend with a betrayed expression for not telling her sooner.
"Which means I am the only one attending a class now." She said dropping her hands in disappointment.

"Go and dance the period away." Jimin chirped making the others erupt in a cheerful laughter.

"How dare you boys bully an innocent girl." She said hitting Jimin's shoulder.

"Innocent?" Jungkook repeated the word with a gag. The girl's webtoon was filled with that quality of mangas yet she has the audacity to call herself innocent.

Harlie scoffed and walked to her class without saying anything.

"So where are we going?" Sehoon asked.

That's what Jungkook had been thinking. Well, there's always a First time.
"To the library or-" He stared.

"Shut up kook." Both Jimin and Sehoom said together.
For a moment Jungkook tried to process why the two elders shouted at him as if he said something so unholy.

"I mean who goes to the library for enjoying free time?" Jimin said.

"I do!" Jimin turned to Sehoon who was looking at him with a poker face.

Jungkook muttered a small 'see' with a proud face.

"Dude seriously?" Jimin asked narrowed his eyebrows almost glaring at Sehoon who glared back at Jimin.

"But right now, we're going to the field and play videogames." Sehoon said with a dangerously calm tone and turned on his heels.
"You both go to the field and I'll bring you snacks."

"We're going to play videogames in the playground?" Oh how absurd it sounded to Jungkook.

"Yeah with background live football practice." Jimin nodded.

Here threw his books at Jimin, who luckily caught them, and stomped his way to the backdoor of the building. Jimin looked back and forth between Sehoon and Jungkook, both were at exact distances away from him but in opposite directions. He was stuck a dilemma to go help older in bringing the snacks and to join Jungkook because the younger is way too clueless to all the evil eyes on him. He stared at nothing as he calculated and recalculated. Finally he decided that Sehoon could manage and followed Jungkook. Of course, afterall he wasn't planning on being in the news headline. For example-

Breaking news: A lovely collage student murdered by the mysterious tiger for not taking care of his bunny.

"Yah, wait for me Jeon Jungkook, where do you think you're going?" He shouted as he ran behind Jungkook.
Before Jungkook could stop he received a hit on his head with the couple of books he had handed to Jimin.

"Jimin-shi~" He whined rubbing his head.

Jimin forcely gave him the books.
"How dare you disrespect me, you idiot?"

"You're idiot." Jungkook pouted covering his lips with the books.

"What did you say?" Jimin placed his hand on the waist.

"Nothing, let's go." Jungkook said and the older dragged him to the field as they planned. It was a clear area behind the collage buildings surrounded by a single row of trees on all sides before the boundaries. A few groups of students were present on the baseball field at the corner few meters away from the badminton court. The soccer pitch was on the other corner again seperated but nothing but a small wall of net that didn't even tall the first floor of the building.

A few benches and flower pots were scaterred here and there to make it looks more refreshing.
Jungkook placed his bag on the bench shoving the books inside and closed the zipper. He wasn't planning on getting a beating with those heavy bricklike things for every other thing he said.

Jimin pocked his elbow in Jungkook as soon as the poor boy sat on the bench.
"What now?"

"There, Yeonjun's group is coming our way." He said tilting his head a little to point at the trio. Yeonjun was Jungkook's Junior who was transferred from somewhere Jungkook couldn't find himself worry about. The boy since then has been labelled as the collage's sweetheart and was likely to be the most extrovert person Jungkook had ever known.

"So?" Jungkook asked.

"What, don't be so clueless kook, the boy has a huge crush on you, haven't you caught him staring at you?"

"Jiminie!?" Jungkook gasped more than warned Jimin.

"Yeah, poor boy doesn't knows kookie already got a hubby for himself." Jimin chuckled.

Jungkook's expression suddenly turned serious.
"Don't say things like that, what if someone heard huh?" Jungkook shushed him.
"How do you think Hyung would feel when he would know you say things like this about him. How disappointed and sad he would feel?" He lifted his chin a little while rebuking the other.
"You know he just cares about me, he's nothing like what you say." Jungkook said and author is 200 percent sure that Jimin saw that glimpse of admiration in the negligible amount of liquid that just gushed into the youngers eyes because of perhaps sadness? disappointment? Whatever.

"I never said someone's name you know." Jimin smirked playfully wiggling his eyebrows.

Jungkook glared at Jimin taking a deep breath ready to rebuke him. I mean what is it? A glaring competition? Suddenly a lot of things were slid on his lap, looking closer Jungkook could identify packets of drinks, jellies, chips and lollipops. He looked up to find Sehoon .

"I couldn't find you banana milk so banana flavoured jelly." The boy said sliding down besides Jungkook.

Jungkook saw Sehoon slide his hands into the pocket and take out a lighter. The boy flipped the lighter and switched it to flames.
