Ah, I remember. Annar broke me and Willow up with some elaborate plan he made. Some random trick, I don't remember exactly how it all went down, but the memories came flooding back to me. Messaging Willow in anger about her cheating on me, which ultimately led to our relationship's end. When I found out the truth, I felt so horrible and wanted to get back with her. It was all Annar's fault.

But, alas, I couldn't do anything about it.

But that got me thinking, why was he here anyways? Did he like my band or something? He never seemed to like me in the first place, so why would he be here? Did he just want to taunt me?

My band members and I looked at eachother and smiled, giving eachother fistbumbs and words of encouragement before we all walked onstage.

'Hey there, Lancing Tennesse!' I said enthusiastically into the mic.

As per usual, cheers and hollers of approval came from the crowd.

'Who's ready to rock the hell outta this place?!' I yelled, smiling.

The crowd started cheering, and I got ready to play my opening notes. Suddenly, the enterance doors flew open. There were people in black T-shirts with the letters 'TK' printed on them. Me and my band members stared at eachother in shock. People screamed as loud bangs and pops came from the audience.

Gunshots.

Me and my band split up. I ran backstage and tried to get out from the back doors, but some men cornered me. I ran through them and back onstage, out of breath. I grabbed my phone out of my pocket and tried to call 911. I tripped over a cord and fell backwards onto the stage, but as soon as the men got closer, I got up.

I hopped offstage and into the audience, headed for the ladder that led to the top balcony. I had nowhere else to run, and it was the only place I could think of where I could possibly be safe. I started to climb the ladder, and I pulled out my phone and tried again to call 911. One of the men grabbed my converse and pulled it off, causing me to drop my phone.

Damnit.

I kept climbing up the ladder, slipping off my other converse in an attempt to make it harder for them to grab me. Once I got to the top, I tried to find a place behind one of the seats to hide, but the men were right behind me.

I decided to make a run for it, so I headed to the back of the balcony to try and buy myself some time. I was out of breath again when I heard their heavy breath behind me. I stopped and turned around, punching both of them dead in the nose. One of the men grabbed my ankel and I tripped over myself and ended up on the floor.

I stood up as fast as I could and flung myself over the balcony, landning sloppily on the stage. I stood up and looked around to see what had happened. Suddenly, there was a loud bang, a blinding light, and then everything went black.

I woke up in a hospital room, a nurse hovering over me. My whole body was killing me, and I groaned and closed my eyes again.

'Eros, you had quite the scare. You're all bruised up to say the least.' The nurse said.

I looked at myself. I was covered in bandages, some of them bloody. I was in a hospital gown, one of the least fashionable things I've ever worn. I felt like a complete mess.

'Terrence!' Ivan exclaimed. 'You're okay! Oh my god I was so worried you weren't gonna make it!'

I sat up in the hospital bed and glanced out the window. It was sunny outside, so I must've slept through the night.

'Are my band members okay? Did they get hurt? Did any of the audience get hurt? Oh my god Ivan, you'll never guess who I-' I started, before I was interrupted by the nurse.

'You've been out for two days, and your band members are okay. I'll be admitting your medication.'

Ivan looked at me, clearly waiting for me to finish what I was gonna say.

'I saw Annar.' I said, rolling my eyes.

Ivan gagged dramatically. 'Ughhh. I hate him. Why would he even be at your show? You guys never got along. AND! Why would he be at the show that just so happened to be ambushed? Something's not quite right here...'

He was right. Why would Annar show up at the show that was ruined and that I got hurt at? This was the only show that I had ever seen him at. It just didn't make sense.

There was a quiet knock at the door, and me and Ivan's attention turned to it.

'Terrence!!' A high pitched voice exclaimed.

Paula, another one of my best friends, ran through the door, a little more exicted than she needed to be.

'I flew in as soon as I heard what happened! I can't believe you're actually a rockstar like you always wanted to be!' She exclaimed, smiling.

I hugged Paula from my hospital bed. I hadn't seen her since the band's big debut, where she went to every show she could. But she had been busy with vacations and stuff, the usual.

'Hey Paula. How're your partners doing?' I asked, grinning.

Paula's eyes lit up as soon as I asked her the question.

'Oh, you know. They're both at home doing stuff without me. But hey, what about your love life? Have you married Bus Kid yet?!' Paula asked, eager to hear my answer.

Bus Kid, god. I forgot about her. I used to have THE biggest crush on her in midlde school, just like Willow. But sadly, Bus Kid moved away before I got to confess to her. I was so heartbroken I cried for two nights thinking about her.

'No, but I definitely have someone in mind for a potential love interest.' I said, looking away.

Ivan suddenly had a burst of excitement, and he squealed.

'Speaking of Table Ki- I mean Willow, I got some dirt on her!' Ivan exclaimed.

Me and Paula both leaned in, exchaning glances, excited to hear what Ivan had to say.

'She's still living in Austin and she runs a buisness company. She hates it there, but that's just life. Anywayssss, she has tickets to THREE of your upcoming shows, and... SHE'S COMING TO YOUR MEET AND GREET!!!' Ivan exclaimed.

I laughed with excitement.

'Seriously? Oh my god, I'm gonna sign the autograph with my number on whatever she wants! We'll text and date again and get married!!!' I smiled.

'Oh but.. What if she doesn't like you anymore?' Paula said.

My smile faded. She was probably right, It's been so many years. Her brother was probably just joking around when he said that she still liked me. She's not obsessed with me like I am with her.

'I guess you have a point there.' I said.

A few hours passed, and I got to leave the hospital. The only thing on my mind was the meet and greet. What if she did still like me? Does she remember me? All these questions in my mind were driving me insane!

It was all too good to be true.
