KQ's 1st Girl Group

Chapter 1

"Who would have thought we'd be this close to debut?" Jordan thought aloud, taking a seat on the bench.

Kai leaned against the mirror, seemingly thinking the same thing. I definitely thought we'd be another year or two."

"Well it is the year of the girls. They would be stupid to not take the risk of debuting someone. I'm just surprised it's a group. I would have thought they would have debuted Len as a soloist." Brynn said, wiping her sweat with her towel.

"I'm just glad Len has mellowed out a bit since she joined the team."

"I can't blame her though. I think I'd be just as pissed if I was put into a group after being with the company for a while and having to go on a survival show."

"Isn't that an understatement." Len spoke walking into the room with Jade.

"How'd the meeting go?" Jordan asked, passing both members their respective water bottles.

"Well I'm officially your leader." Jade said, sitting down, back against the wall, as she closed her eyes to take a deep breath.

"And you're okay with that?" Brynn asked, throwing it out for either of her members to answer.

"Well, it makes the most sense. You've trained together longer than you've known me. Honestly, it's the best thing for the group."

The room went silent following her words. Adjusting to being in a group had been a bit hard for her considering the whole thing caught her off guard to begin with.

"Well let's not dwell on it. We're four weeks out and promos drop tomorrow. We should hype ourselves up. We're KQ's 1st girl group, we have all earned the rights to go out there and shut the industry down."

"Always the optimist aren't you." Lennox spoke under her breath but loud enough for everyone to hear.

"We should practice...." Kai spoke, hurriedly getting up to turn on the music.

Everyone moved into positions and while they had hoped they would have a decent practice, this might have been their worst one yet.

Lennox moves too close and ends up standing in front of Kai too much during her center time. One time sure,but several tries and it doesn't change?

"Hey y'all, you're doing great. Just a reminder Len, this part is Kai's center time so you wanna be over more." Jordan say's after cutting off the music.

"Yeah sure...." Lennox said, grabbing her phone, not caring what Jordan was saying. Jade gave Jordan a look that said to drop it, so she did.

Jade called for the members to continue practice as they had to get up early for filming and a few more hours would be beneficial in the end.

The members continued to practice alongside and everything was going fine. Except,Lennox kept messing up their positions and bumping into members. Each time they had to stop and tell Ro what she did wrong, she would just nod her head and dismiss the problems. Practice was slowly getting worse and worse and Jade knew she had to say something now.

"Um alright y'all let's take a break real quick. Grab some water. Len, can I talk to you?"

They both walked off in a separate area in the practice room.

"Are you okay?"

"Is this what you called me over here for, to ask if I'm okay?" Lennox scoffed.

"Honestly, no.. throughout practice you've been messing up the most and i'm a bit worried."

"I'll get it fixed, now can I go?"

"No, you can't. Look, you've been giving everyone a side eye after they told you what you're doing wrong and you have not given any effort to fix them. Listen, as the leader–"
