BEEP

BEEP

BEEP

A dark room with only blue lights glowing visibly. The only light which wasn't blue was coming from a white screen, it displayed several questions of difficulty. Answering these questions was merely a child.

"the results have arrived." a deep masculine voice was heard.

"I have come to the point where you have successfully answered all the questions, correctly." the professor was slightly taken by surprise.

although she had perfect scores everyday, the questions did change and get harder. It was indeed surprising for a child with a developing brain.

"Sir, your daughter is indeed a gem." mumbled the professor into the father's ear.

"her worth is more than gems.."

The girl went to her father, smiling at him. He smiled back at her with joy. She was everything to him, even if she wasn't as innocent as she seemed to be, He still wishes he could give her more love.

The professor eyed her, every single day her. Her intelligence was at a whole another level. She was a prodigy at a mere age of 4, when she first told her Uncle about the Demons. If only he could have her..

People may think being pretty is a gift & one should be thankful, but have they ever decided to ask how is actually feels like, instead of making assumptions? It seems that it is only envied upon.

"father..." she called out her father.

Upon hearing his mention, her father went towards her. He came down to her level.

"What is it, my child?" he calmly questioned her as he held her cheek gently.

"am I not normal? am I crazy?" she asked with such innocence that anyone hearing this would cry.

Her father hugged her tightly, but gently. She could hear her father's calm heartbeat going on, It calmed her. Her father was quiet he didn't answer her questions, he didn't have answers..he just wanted to cry, cry so much that he might pass out.

"if only I could fly you to somewhere safer.."
