For the rest of the day, the family decided not to get out of their hut. They got all their things in place, and decided to rest. They've come a long way, from the forest to our island.

We decided to let them take the time they need to get used to this place before we start with the lessons.

The whole day passed with the forest boy on my mind. And not in a good way. He makes me so mad, I just wanna pluck his fangs out..

But for now, before he drives me that crazy, I have to get used to them being around.

Tommorow, they still didn't wanna come out of their new home.I was weirded out by it, but I didn't let it get to me and my responsibilities.

I was feeding Ilu's, when someone came from behind me.

It was Tsireya. She had a smile on her face, and looked rather brighter than usual. "Hi Y/n.."

"Hey there. Don't just stand there and smile, help me feed them." I rolled my eyes playfully, before handing her some of the food.

She started feeding them, and looked up at me from time to time, as if she wanted to ask me something. "Is something wrong?" I asked.

"It's just.." She sighed. "I feel really bad for the Sully family." There she goes. "Before you go all 'Why do you care?' on me, think for a second. They didn't come out for a whole day yesterday, and even today they don't wanna come out."

"Im sure they're fine. I don't wanna talk about them, you know how I feel about outsiders." I said.

"Y/n, please hear me out." She whined.

I sighed, putting the food away. "Your point is?"

"We should offer them help." She pleaded. "They have to know they have someone on their side, and I don't wanna be alone in this." Putting the food away aswell, she walked over to me, and cupped my hands in her own. "Please, I know a part of you feels pity for them too.."

I thought for a moment. She isn't wrong, I do feel bad about the whole sky people situattion, and how much hate they are getting here, but they are still outsiders. Still, no one deserves to be treated that way.

"Fine." Her face lit up as I spoke. "Let's go and ask their kids to hang out I guess?"

"Yes!" She hugged me. "Perfect! Let's go."

On the way to their hut, all I could feel was regret for suggesting that. Like, why would I suggest that when I don't wanna be around Neteyam?

When we made it there, Tsireya was a bit anxious, and it was really visible. So as the good friend I am, I decided to be the one to ask them.

That did not go well.

She was behind me as I made it to the entrance. When I stepped in, the girl and the younger boy were eating, their parents nowhere in sight. And Neteyam was playing with the youngest kid as she sat in his lap.

I was about to speak, but the moment the oldest boy made eye contact with me, I lost the courage to do anything.

Looking over at Tsireya, she didn't look any different than me. We both felt lost, and neither of us knew why.

"What?" The older girl frowned.

"I.." I mumbled. "Tsireya wanted to ask you something!"

"WHAT?!" Tsireya panicked.

"It was your idea." I whispered as I pulled her in front of me.

"We.." She gulped. "We wanted to ask if you guys wanna hang out with us.." Thanks for being brave for me.
