The night passed, and I barely got any sleep. It was proabably my subconciousness reminding me that I have to spend the next morning ALONE with NETEYAM. I really don't want to, but at the same time, I really wanna make him suffer.

I know that sounds dark, but anyone would understand me in this situation.

I woke up around 4 in the morning, with lack of sleep. But it doesnt matter, because the water always manages to get me worked up in the morning.

I brushed my hair, and put on an outfit. I left my hut, and went over to the shore to wait for Neteyam.

The sea always looks beautiful at this time of the day. I stepped in the cold waters, already feeling refreshment go through my body. I was about to go deeper, when something jumped in the water, splashing me entirely. It made me furious.

Then, to top it off, I heard them laugh. The annoying familiar laugh. Neteyam.

I opened my eyes, and he was still laughing at me as he stood up. I wanted to attack him, but I couldn't. I just started laughing too. I couldn't help it.

When we both stopped laughing he walked over to me. "You really look like a sweetheart in the morning."

"You're the one to talk." I looked up at him and rolled my eyes playfully. He walked closer to me. "What are you doing?"

He started fixing my hair, that got in my face. "There. Now, should we start with the lessons?"

I looked up at him, and couldnt help but feel nervous at how close we were to one another. When he relised it, he walked back a little. "Let's go for a swim. I wanna know what's the fastest you can go."

We dove down, and I watched him swim around. His movements were good, but too agressive. He looked at me to give him some sort of sign. I just went up, and so did he. "Was that good?"

I shook my head. "You have to move more gracefully. Come with me." He followed me to the beach, and I sat down, patting a spot opposite of me for him to sit down. When he did, I grabbed onto his thigh, and slid my hand down harshly.

"What are you doing?" He asked.

"Calm down, I am relaxing your muscles." I focused. "You're too tense. Im sure when climbing trees you have to use your muslces. In the water, It's all about the movements. Relax yourself, and the water will carry you along itself." I looked up at him, and he was focusing on my features. I frowned and smacked him.

He hissed. "Ow!"

"Did you listen to anything I just said?"

"I did." He sighed. "I wanna try again."

"This time, dont hit the water like an enemy." I said.

He nodded his head, and we went back into the water. With a few more tries, he was going faster and faster. He was a good student indeed. Was I pushing him like I said I would? No i wasn't. Why? I don't know.

We decided to take a break, and sat on the beach in silence. It was awkward. We were never this awkward when there are others with us.

"Next up is breathing lessons." I broke the silence and earned a nod.

"Okay, enough about lessons." He looked at me. "Tell me about yourself."

I also turned to look at him. "What do you wanna know?"

"For starters.." He leaned back on his elbows. "Why are you with Aonung?"

I frowned. "Because I love him.."

"I've seen love Y/n." He said, and I looked away into the sea. "He's not a good guy. When you were with him, all you did was mock us. But when he's not around you're.. different."

I sighed. "You don't know Aonung like I do. I do like him."

"Tell me how you really feel." He moved over, to sit next to me, our legs touching.

I looked up at him for a moment, before hugging my knees, and burrying my face in my arms. "I guess that it's just this empty feeling I have. I tried to find the answers in him. He is a perfect boyfriend, but why don't I feel perfect.."

He suddenly put his hand around me, pulling me closer to him, into a side hug. "Maybe he isn't the answer you're looking for."

I chuckled and looked up at him. "Then what is?"

He shook his shoulders, as he looked deeply into my eyes. "Maybe someone else could be the answer."

We started at each other for a second. It felt nice tho. Then his gaze went to my lips. That was my cue to look away, but I didn't. He ended up pulling away from me tho. And the nice feeling went away.

"Tell me about yourself." I smiled at him. "Is there anyone on your mind..?"

He chuckled. "Well.."

"So there is?" I smirked.

His smile went away. "It's really nothing.."

"Whatever.." I chuckled. "I'm sure you care about this someone a lot."

"More than you know.." He mumbled. "Hey, the sun is coming out."

I looked at the sky, and he was right. "I love watching sunrises on my island."

"It's beautiful.." He said.

"You know, there are many things you'll get to experiance on our island" I looked a him, and noticed he was already staring at me.

"We could experiance them together." He said.

I smiled at him, and was about to speak up, but someone came from behind me, cutting me off.

"Y/n?" I turned around, only to see Aonung. "What are you doing with this freak?"

I stood up and walked over to him. "I was giving him swimming lessons." Neteyam stood up too and walked over to us, me standing in between him and Aonung.

"Is there a problem here?" Neteyam asked.

"The problem is standing in front of me." Aonung said as he pulled me behind him. "Stay away from Y/n."

"Aonung, let's go.." I grabbed his hand, and we started walking away.

"You can't force love onto someone." Neteyam said, making Aonung stop in his tracks.

"Neteyam, stop it!" I yelled out.

Aonung smiled, and put his hand around me. "It's okay Y/n. I think I know what the problem is here." People started watching us as he spoke. He started speaking louder so everyone can hear. "Don't think I didn't see the way you look at Y/n."

"Aonung, that's enough!" I said.

Neteyam chuckled. "Your point is?"

"My point is that mister wanna be warrior here, likes MY girlfriend!" Aonung spat.

I looked over at Neteyam, and he looked flustered and mad at the same time. He looked over at me, and all I could do was stare confused.

"Maybe if you were a bit more of a good person, you wouldn't be catching Y/n talking to other men around here." Neteyam talked back.

"Neteyam, cut it!" I yelled. "Aonung, let's go."

"I can't belive how stupid you are acting Y/n." Neteyam said before running off to his hut.

"What were you doing with that bastard-" Aonung said, but I cut him off by pulling away from him.

"I can't belive you just did that!" I said. "You already have me LITTERALY aranged to you. Why try and humiliate him? He didn't do anything."

"Come on Y/n, you ca't be that oblivious." He said.

"Can we just forget this ever happened and move on." I sighed.

He grabbed my hand and pulled me towards him. "Come here." He kissed me, and hugged me. We decided to go Ilu riding to clear our minds, but I couldn't help but feel guilty for doing that to Neteyam.

He didn't do anything wrong, and we both hurt him.

I am surely going to apologize to him when the time is right.
