Chapter 11:

Wills pov : after a few hours at the arcade I decide to finally go home, I was incredibly drained from all the screaming and shouting and I couldn't wait to sink in my bed.

I call my mum and asked her to pick me up to which she agreed and said that she would be a few minutes as she's with hopper. Ew I thought what could have they been up to? Just thinking about it gives me the ick. I sat down on the steps leading up to the arcade as I waited for my mum, after a few minutes Mike comes out and sits next to me. Oh god. He's right there what do I do?! I thought before he rests his head on my shoulder.

What the hell? I thought, what on earth is he doing? As he was about to speak I heard my mums voiced and i eagerly jumped up and ran to her car.

"Hey mum thanks for picking me up"

"Of course darling, what was that? What's up with you and Mike?"

"Nothing .. just can't wait to go home."

I say before I turn towards where I had previously been sitting next to Mike and there I saw him sit there looking quite upset, I felt bad, but nevertheless I was just happy to finally go home and rest.

After a few lonely minutes in the car, we finally arrive home where I saw hopper sitting down on the couch.

"Hey will"

"Oh hey hopper" I said before I walked towards my room. As I was approaching my room I heard banging coming from Jonathan's room what the hell could he be doing? I was about to knock before I heard Nancy's voice. Oh god, they were at it again, after a few seconds I finally went to my room where I plopped down on the bed and stared at the ceiling. What the hell had happened today? Why the hell was Mike so protective of me..? Before another thought could invade my mind I hear my phone beep.

I dropped my phone in shock. What. The hell . Just . Happened. Oh my god I'm going on a date with Mike. I grabbed my pillow and screamed into it, erupting sounds of girlish screams, but I couldn't care, all I know is that the boy I have liked for years could now be mine.
