For the next few days, I don't hear anything from Charles. I don't know what to think of that, so I just try not to think about it at all.

I'm going to meet my friend Ella for lunch today. I met Ella 2 years ago at an event here in Monaco. At the time, she was doing a year abroad from her University in London, where she's from, and she ended up loving Monaco so much that she stayed. We hung out at that event and never left each other ever since.

I have an hour before we meet, so I go get dressed. I decide on a cute flowy green dress. When I'm doing my makeup, my mind wonders and I think about Charles. What if he regrets what happened with us and now is choosing to ignore me? I should text him, just to make sure everything is cool.

I catch myself smiling in the mirror and stop. I need to remind myself that we kind of hate each other and this is just a physical thing. I shake my head, grab my purse and leave the house. Before I start driving, I text Ella that I'm on my way.

Once I get there, I give my key to the valley person and before I get into the restaurant, I spot some fans on the other side of the street waving and I wave back to them, smiling.

I will never get used to having so many people liking me for who I am and say such nice things. Of course there's people who don't like me and say horrible things, but I try my best to not read those comments. Although sometimes they do affect me and I've had a really rough time where I had panic attacks all the time and just didn't want to go outside. Being a woman in a male dominated sport can be really negative sometimes, but what keeps me going is the women who reach out to me saying how much I inspire them. And that's all I could ask for.

I spot Ella and when she sees me she smiles and gets up.

"Hi! Oh my god, I missed you so much!" She says hugging me.

"I missed you! You look gorgeous!" I say when we let go of each other and sit down in the seat in front of her.

"Thank you! You look amazing too!" She says giving me the biggest smile. "I was so happy when you called me. We haven't hung out in so long."
