Sienna
As I step out of the podium, trophy in hand, I wipe the champagne off my face with my sleeve. It's worth to be covered in champagne if I can be on that podium every weekend. Behind me, also leaving the podium, is Max and Charles. Besides the little incident yesterday, it was a great race. Charles kept his promise of not driving like a lunatic this time, which I appreciate. I hear them talking to each other about the race and then Charles calls for me.
"I didn't have the chance to talk to you before the race, but I saw the qualifying back and you were right, I did impend you. I'm sorry for creating an unnecessary fight," He says, but then whispers, "Although, I'm not sorry about what happened after."
I hear Max from behind us fake a very loud cough and I send him a look, that makes him walk slower to increase the space between him and us.
"Thank you for apologizing," I say and he smiles at me. Someone calls for him and he leaves.
"What happened after?" Max asks, catching up with me.
"Just a little hate sex in his drivers room," I say knowing that will make him not want to talk about it and he makes a disgusted face, just as I predicted.
"Actually, no. I regret even asking," He says and I laugh.
The next hour is spend on briefings and interviews. Max and I leave together for our hotel, where we get dinner and then get ready to go out. All the drivers make a tradition to always go out after a race in specific cities, and Miami is one of them. Max calls an Uber, which we share, and we make our way to the club.
As we walk in, the club is filled with people dancing and we try not to get hit while we try to find our friends. When we finally do, they're all starting to take a shot, sitting in a private area.
"How rude! You didn't even wait for us!" I scream over the music and take Charles' glass off his hand right before he has the chance to drink it. Never taking my eyes off of his, I drink the shot and hand him back the glass, a smirk on his face. I feel like causing a little stress to this boy tonight, make him suffer a little.
I go to Kika and Heidi, who are both talking on the couch and I hug them.
"Congrats for the podium!" Heidi says, pulling me to sit next to them.
"Yes! We have to celebrate!" Kika says handing me another shot from the table. We take it and catch up a little. An hour later, I've had two more shots and there's a drink on my hand, of which I'm slowly sipping. I feel tipsy, but not drunk exactly.
Everyone is in a great mood. Most of us are dancing and some other people are just hanging out with each other. I spot Charles on the right side of me, leaning on the rail, talking and laughing with Carlos, Max and Pierre. He looks so damn good with baggy jeans and a button up, showing his chest a little. Every time I steal a glimpse at him, he's looking at me, that stupid smirk on his face and his eyes lingering on me. He doesn't even try to pretend he's not looking.
I start purposefully dancing slower, still on the rhythm of the song, but trying to provoke any type of reaction from him. With my hand, I slowly bring my hair over my left shoulder, exposing my neck and my back. I move my hips, keeping the eye contact. He's not listening to the guys anymore and he's not smirking. His eyes run through my body like he's undressing me with them, his mouth is a little open and his cheeks... are red. I actually made him blush.
I smile, never averting his gaze. I never knew I loved to provoke him this much.
Charles
She's going to be the death of me. I could actually drop dead right here and I would die happy knowing I had the pleasure to see this beautiful sight.
I know Pierre is talking, I think I hear Carlos responding to him, but I can't even focus on that when Sienna is swaying her body just a few meters away from me, so painfully slow. She knows exactly what she's doing to me, I see it in the way she looks at me. I feel my face heating up and she smiles. Fuck. I can't believe I'm blushing right now.
"Mate?" Pierre calls, snapping his fingers in front of me. I see him following my gaze and I quickly stop looking at Sienna, trying to pretend I was looking at something else, but I think it's too late. "What was that?"
"What was what? I was just listening to you," I try to avert the subject.
"No you weren't, you were looking at Sienna with these eyes!" He says. He's mocking me, I'm going to punch him in the nose.
"Don't be crazy Pierre. You know what you should be paying attention to? That guy over there looking at your girlfriend like he's going to go talk to her very soon," I say, pointing at the man at the bar looking at Kika in a gross way. Pierre spins his head so fast it makes me think it's going to fall off his neck. He walks to her, smiling and starts dancing with her, sending a look to the guy who makes a face and starts talking to his friends.
When I look at Sienna, she's not where she was before. I start looking for her, a little in panic, but then I find her sitting alone in one of the couches. I'm about to tell Carlos and Max I'll be right back, but then I notice they're not even here anymore, so I start walking to her.
"Hey, are you ok?" I ask when I sit next to her.
"A little tired," She says, her head leaning on the wall and she's quit literally starting to fall asleep.
"I'm taking you to your hotel, come on," I say standing up and offering her my hand.
"You don't have to do that Charles, I can go on my own," She says, her eyes closed.
"Not a chance," I say and she opens her eyes, taking my hand and standing up.
"Wait, I'm telling Max I'm leaving," She says and I watch every step she takes to Max, who nods and looks at me. I give him a thumbs up and he smiles. I watch as she talks a little with Kika and I use that as an opportunity to call a car. She makes her way back to me and I put my arm around her. Not even 5 minutes later, the car arrives and we get in.
When we finally get to the hotel she's staying, I can see the effort she made to stay awake in the car. We get into her room and she throws herself into her bed.
"Sienna," I call her when I see her closing her eyes.
"Let me sleep," She groans when I pull her from the bed by her arms.
"At least put on some pajamas," I say looking for her suitcase and she groans a "fine".
She takes her shoes and starts to take her dress.
"Maybe I should go, let you rest," I say heading for the door.
"Charles," She calls and I look at her. "Stay, please,"
How could I say no when she's looking at me that way? I nod. I start taking off my clothes and laying them on a chair. I lay on the bed and she puts on her pajamas and goes to the bathroom. I pick my phone and find a text from Max asking if we made it ok. I text him everything is good and that's when I know he knows about me and Sienna. I should have guessed, they're like siblings.
She comes back from the bathroom and lays next to me, laying her head on my shoulder. I turn on my side, putting my arm under her and pulling her closer.
"Thanks for taking care of me," She says, her breath tickling my neck.
"Always," I say and leave a kiss on her cheek.
I'm madly in love with her.
