The Snake's Daughter

-The Third Exam-

You stood looking around, 

After you all passed and were done talking to Iruka you were taken to a big room, it looked like a battle arena, it was so big 

You stood next to Kabuto and Gaara, the rest of your team was split up as well 

"Good job for passing your the second part of the exam" Said the woman you saw before you went into the forest 

Naruto, Saskue, and Sakura all stood behind, "hey look everyone is here" Sakura said 

She was right, all the Sensei's were here 

"Woah everybody here, old man Hokage, Iruka Sensei, and even bushy brows and it looks like no one was left behind" Naruto said 

"I don't have a very good feeling about this" Saskue said

You stayed silent, what was next.....

"ALRIGHT, now pay attention Lord Hokage is going to explain the third exam to you, you better listen carefully maggots" She said, shes a little more violent

Lord Hokage had stepped forward and cleared his throat, 

"First before i tell you what the third exam entails i want to explain something about the test its self, listen closely now its something all you need to understand, i'm going to tell you the true purpose of these exams, why do you think we hold these exams with our allies....to raise the abilities of all shinobi and create friendship with allied nations, but its important that you understand that the exams are so to speak, it also represents the battle between our nations" he said 

"What does that mean" Tenten said 

"Well if we look at our history all the countries were allied with were once continuously fought with for power, in order to keep their military strength from destroying each other, they picked people to battle other nations in a exact location that is how the Chunin exams began" He said 

"Well that's great but then why do we have to go through these exams then i mean its not were doing this to pick Chunin to go fight" Naruto said behind you 

"There is no question that part of the point is that these exams select shinobi worthy of becoming Chunin, these also help ninja show the pride of their nation on their back and fight against other ninja for their very life's" Hokage said 

"The pride of their nation?" Sakura said 

"Many leaders and people of prominence from these countries are to attend these exams as guest, and also possibly to seek shinobi to work for them, this exam opens the course for ninja work for here on out and more importantly those rulers will watch your battles and take note of each ninja and each nations of the strength their developing, therefore the stronger our nations is the more chance our counties get to negotiate so its important to show how much our military strength has" The Hokage said 

"Okay, but why is it necessary for us to risk our life's" Kiba said 

"The country's strength is the villages strength is the Shinobi's strength and the true strength of a shinobi is when it is pushed to its limits, such as a life or death battle this is a test to display the strength of each shinobi and the strength of the village its self, when this exam puts your life on he line then it gives more meaning" The hokage said 

"But then why did you use the word friendship" Tenten said 

"You have already remembered half of what i said you also musn't have the wrong idea of the exam's meaning, the thired exam is a fight for pride and your village with your dreams at stake" The hokage said
