NATSU'S POV

It been years since I joined this stupid guild, fairy tail and I'm still not used to it. I hate it, can be annoying at times especially when they start brawling. Technically I didn't join the guild by choice at first, the old man forced me to join, I'm pretty sure anyone would see it as kidnapping. The only reason I'm still here is because I'm searching for my foster father, the dragon king Acnologia who disappeared in the year x777. I was taught chaos dragon slaying magic by him. It's a special type of magic that can only be acquired through training from a dragon.

"Come Happy" I said after drinking my beer. I stood up from my usual seat on the second floor. Happy just finished eating his fish and flew next to me. Happy is my only friend. I found him a few days after Acnologia disappeared. He's the one of the few people in the guild who didn't care who my father is and we've been best friends ever since.

"You're going out?" Said the Requip wizard, Ezra who was looking at a flier while eating a strawberry cake. I answered with a grunt. "Alright, see ya" she said and walked away. Ezra Scarlet, a S-Class wizard like me, but I'm stronger than her. We're not friends...no, she's just basically part of the few people I could tolerate unlike the rest.

When we walked out of the guild, I felt people staring at me, probably relived that I'm leaving but I don't care. "Where are we going Natsu?" Happy asked as he sits on my shoulder.

"Hargeon. I heard a rumour that Salamander has been there for a few days and I think he knows where my father is?" I replied.

"Aye. Let's hurry before we leave" he said and rest of the trip was quiet. Happy knows I don't like to talk unless necessary.

We reached Hargeon the next day and walking around aimlessly for any clues on Salamander. From what I've heard, this dragon slayer was raised by a fire dragon and is known for saving a lot of towns and fighting dark guilds with that fire power. I also heard that Salamander is a quiet and reserved person, no one has seen his face, he wears a red jacket and a white cloak. He would do his work and quickly leave to avoid attention. So why would he come to a town like this? I don't know but I have a bad feeling about this.

"Stingy old man only knocked off a thousand jewels" I hear someone grumble. It was a blond haired girl wearing a white shirt, black pants and boots. She also has a backpack with her. She was walking in my direction looking a little annoyed, but quickly faded when she noticed me.

"Excuse me, could you hel-" she starts to talk and I just ignored her, not wanting to deal with people right now. My main objective is to find Salamander.

"Hey, hello!" She called out, I didn't respond and kept walking.

"Natsu, maybe we should have hear her out" Happy said. I gave him a deadpan look which shut him up. He knows fully well I don't do people.

"Hurry up! I heard Salamander is here!" I hear a girl yell to her friend.

"Who's Salamander?" Her friend asked.

"Are you kidding me? You don't know who Salamander is? He's that famous fire dragon slayer remember!" The girl squealed.

"Oh! That Salamander! How could I forget?!"

I follow the girls that were looking for Salamander and noticed a crowd of women. As I pushed my way through the crowd, I saw a tall man with purple hair posing. "Please ladies, one at a time" he said making the girls squeal.

"This is Salamander" I thought, arching an eyebrow. Happy and I gave each other a look before turning to this Salamander. Something is definitely wrong here.

"Is that Chaos?" I heard a woman say as I approach the man. They all backed away, but didn't run away yet because of Salamander.

"Who the hell are you?" I demanded.
