The Shining Beacon (Part 2)

The opening ends to an aerial view of Violetta, Ruby and Jaune entering Beacon Academy's giant auditorium, filled to the brim with people. Ruby looks over when she hears Yang's voice.

"Ruby! Over here! I saved you a spot!", Yang said, waving her over. "Oh! Hey, I-I gotta go! I'll see you both after the ceremony!", Ruby said.

"I going to go too. Good luck, Jaune!", Violetta said, running somewhere else. "Hey, wait!", Jaune yelled after them, but sighed.

"Ah, great. Where am I supposed to find more nice, quirky girls to talk to?!", Jaune said. He moves on to reveal Pyrrha standing behind him, hand on her hips, as she watches him walk away.

Violetta made her way through the auditorium. While she had gotten used to large crowds, thanks to her attendance of balls and soirees.

But, this was so different, than what she was used to. She must have zoned out, as bumped into someone, making her fall over.

"Oh I'm so sorry, I wasn't looking where I was going.", a male voice said, he held out his hand. "It's okay, I was kind of zoned out.", Violetta said, taking his hand.

"I'm Violetta.", Violetta continued. "Violetta Kyrstal of Minstral?", the boy asked.

His eyes widened, as if just then recognizing her. "Your highness.", the boy continued.

He politely bows in her presence. Violetta then laughed.

"Please no need for that! As long as I'm here, I'm just a normal girl who happens to be second in line of a whole country.", Violetta said. The boy rose back up.

"Now I believe when someone tells you their name, you're supposed to do the same?", Violetta teased. "Oh, of course.", the boy said, flushing in embarrassment.

"I'm Lie Ren.", Ren greeted. "Well, it's very nice to meet you, Lie Ren. I hope we'll be able to talk later.", Violetta smiled, leaving him and continuing her way through the auditorium.

Ren's eyes followed her, as she walked away. "Who ya lookin' at?", a red-headed girl dressed in pink said, snapping away his concentration.

"How's your first day going, little sister?", Yang asked. "You mean since you ditched me and I exploded?", Ruby said, arms crossed.

"Yikes! Meltdown already?", Yang asked. "No, I literally exploded a hole in front of the school! And there was some fire, and I think some ice...?", Ruby tried to explain.

"Are you being sarcastic?", Yang asked, smiling broadly. "I wish! I tripped over some crabby girl's luggage, and then she yelled at me, and then I sneezed, and then I exploded, and then she yelled at me again, and I felt really, really bad, and I just wanted her to stop yelling at me! But then this really pretty girl I met and fought with yesterday named Violetta came and helped me-", Ruby explained, rambling on, unaware the camera panned to reveal Weiss and Lukas behind her.

"You!", Weiss said. "Oh, God! It's happening again!", Ruby yelped, as she quickly jumping into her sister's arms.

"You're lucky we weren't blown off the side of the cliff!", Weiss yelled out. "Weiss!", Lukas scolded, his gaze turns to Ruby, apologetic.

"Hi. I'm Lukas, we met yesterday.", Lukas greeted. "What? You know her?", Weiss asked.

"Oh my God, you really exploded.", Yang said deadpan. "It was an accident.", Ruby told her.

She steps out of Yang's arms. "It was an accident!", Ruby continued towards Weiss.

Weiss holds up a pamphlet titled, "DUST for dummies and other Inadequate Individuals" to Ruby. "What's this?", Ruby asked.
