Lover Boy || ZeeNunew

Chapter 9

Note: Sorry I don't know much about Thai honorifics I tried to do the best I could though. 

The couple had arrived in Chiang Rai about an hour ago. Currently, they were sitting in the back of a taxi on their way to Zee's parent's house. Zee had called P'Aof to tell him that they would be staying for a while until Nunew got better. As per his wish, P'Aof had canceled their events for the week. 

Zee sighed and felt Nunew's forehead with the back of his hand. Nhu had fallen asleep somewhere after they had gotten into the taxi. His fever was a whole lot better but he was still as sleepy as ever. Zee was looking forward to going home but he wondered what Nunew's parents would think if he brought home a sick Nunew. 

The white taxi stopped in front of a large house yet comfy-looking house. The older man woke up the younger and slipped out of the Taxi. Zee pulled Nunew out gently and shut the door, thanking the driver. He watched as the Taxi left and pulled out the hose key from his back pocket. Nunew broke away from his grasp and attempted o stand on his own. 

"Nhu , what happened?" Zee reached out to Nunew who shook his head. 

"Mai Hia. If I lean on you my parents will worry a lot. I want to look as strong as possible for them na." Zee chuckled. "But Nhu---" Nunew shushed him by bringing his hands to his lips. "No Buts. Now open the door." 

With no choice left Zee shifted closer to Nunew and twisted the key and pushed the door open. The house was quiet and dark which meant everyone was probably asleep. Nunew hadn't told his parents that he was coming to Chiang Rai to see them. If he did they would have stayed up all night waiting for their son to return. "Come I will take you to my room." Zee gently grasped Nunew's hand and walked towards the stairs when Nunew stopped him. The older turned around and furrowed his brows as if asking Nhu what is it. 

"Hia I want to eat. I'm hungry." 

Zee totally forgot about the entire existence of food. He was so focused on getting Nunew comfortable he forgot that neither of them had eaten anything. "Of course. What do you want to eat?" Nunew walked over to the kitchen and settled onto a chair and looked up at Zee with expectant eyes. "Nhu~it's 12:30. I---" The younger's eye hold intensified and he pouted making Zee chuckle. "Alright. Whatever you want." he sweetly said and filled a glass of water for Nunew and set it in front of him and walked over to the fridge. Smiling he turned to Nunew. "Lucky for you my parents always have a fridge full of stuff." 

Nunew loved when Zee cooked for him. Watching the man cook was something that he absolutely loved. The younger couldn't pin what exactly he liked about it but it was nice to watch. His Hia was a really good cook and he loved to eat. It was a win-win situation for both. 

Zee pulled out a pan from the bottom left cupboard and set it on the stove. Nhu had wanted him to cook. And when Nhu wanted him to cook he would ask for spicy foods such as stir-fry but currently Nunew was sick. That would be the last thing that he cook. Instead he was going to make sweet ginger congee. And he knew Nunew wouldn't appreciate that very much.

And to Nunew's utter surprise his Hia was not making stir-fry instead he was making Congee. And he was done in a matter of minutes, leaving a bowl of steaming congee in front of Nhu and set a glass spoon on the edge of the black bowl. Zee looked at Nunew who looked at him with wide eyes of shock. "Hia~" Nhu whined at Zee who laughed at how cute he was. "I don't want this! I want stir-fry!" 

"Nhu your sick. You can't eat spicy food." Zee lectured Nunew who sulked and crossed his hands over his chest as a sign that he wont eat. Zee sighed and sat down next to him and got ahold of the glass spoon. Scooping a small portion of the congee onto the spoon he gently blew on it to cool it down. The older brought the spoon up to Nunew's mouth and looked at him and nodded his head to the spoon. "Come on Nhu~ open up." "No!" "Just one bite." Grunting Nunew opened his mouth and Zee slipped the spoon in. Nunew chewed on the rice, tasting the food.
