Chapter 2 ---- the accident

Fiona's POV

Sally and I were walking around the park talking about random stuff! She was just like a sister to me. I only became friends with her a few months ago while I was at her cousins Party and I was staying over. Her cousins and my family were pretty close. We always went over to each others houses. I knew her since I was in 3rd grade--just like I knew her brother,but I never talked with her,I was always too scared because I thought she was those mean popular girls. She was really pretty! I didn't think she would really like me since I wasn't as pretty and popular like her! But after one day when I decided to talk to her I found out what an amazing person she was! We become so close just in a few months! I can't Believe I hadn't been friends with her earlier! I told her almost everything except the fact that I was starting to get weird feelings Everytime I went by her brother...

I didn't feel comfortable telling her about this,I wasn't sure how she would react.

"Soo tell me about jake! Did you see him lately?"Sally asked me in an excited voice.

Jake was a guy I had a crush on,He had green eyes and dark brown hair,he was two years older than me. I had been crushing on him for like 4 months now.

"well I havent really seen him lately... I don't think I even care anymore" I told her in a casual voice.

Jake was really good looking. he was those types of boys who had every girl's attention but didn't give a shit about any of them! I haven't seen him for 2 months because he went to Italy. I don't know why but that's what his cousin told me.

She was in my class,so I always asked her for the latest news about him. Haha I know I sound like a stalker.

We walked a bit more till we decided to play badminton.

She went and got the bat and birdie from the bag,while I sat there.

"watch me beat you in this game!" Sally said with a huge grin on her face, while walking to give me a bat.

"oh yeah? Let's see you do that!" I told her.

We had started to play,and she was really good at playing this! I never really thought of her as the sporty type.

"59!"she was counting how many hits we were Doing.

"OMG 70...75!! " I screamed in excitement!

Then all of a sudden I felt something hit my face really hard. I fell to the ground making a loud noise and my body filled with pain. Everything went black and I tasted something salty in my mouth. I had no idea what was going on,I wasn't unconscious,but what ever it was , hit my eyes and mouth.I couldn't open up my eyes.

my eyes stayed shut just as my brain became numb,Everything was like spinning around me,I didn't know what to do.I just heard Sally's voice screaming something.
