It was just like any other day at Kim's Flower Kart (the name ik, bear with me guys💀💀), the flower shop owned by the Kim family. 20 year old Kim Namjoon was currently at the front getting a bouquet of roses ready for an elderly man at the front pick up desk.
NAMJOON
"Here you are, Mr. Choi," I said, handing the fresh bouquet of roses to the elderly man. "I hope your wife feels better."
"Thank you, dear boy," praised the old man with a warm smile, taking the roses from my hands. He paid for his bouquet and I gave him his change. Almost immediately after he walked out, I let out a loud, long sigh. I propped my elbow on the front counter and rested my chin on my palm.
There was never anything new around here. It was always the same people, buying the same thing, probably for the same occasion too. There was never any excitement or-
The bell rang above the door and there he was.
The most gorgeous man I've ever seen.
I quickly patted my golden, messy hair down, though I don't know why. I'm straight, why did I want to look good for this guy?
The little bell above the door rang as he stepped in the door, looking a bit shy.
He had silky, pink hair which looked perfect on top of his head. His pink, plump lips were turned upright into a small smile as he looked into my eyes, and I just couldn't look away no matter how badly I wanted to.
"Hello," He greeted me quietly. His voice was calming but still cute. "What type of flowers would you recommend for graduation? They're for my little brother."
I only just realized I was blushing, and my mouth was slightly open. I shut my mouth and pretended to busy myself by looking around for a certain type of flower.
"I personally think that orchids would be perfect for graduation, but you can choose whichever you want out of these," I told him, my face still pink.
"Thank you," he smiled at me sweetly; it gave me a warm fuzzy feeling in my stomach. Snap out of it Namjoon, you're not gay! "I'm Seokjin by the way, but you can call me Jin." Jin introduced himself, holding out his hand.
"I'm Namjoon," I told him, taking his hand and shaking it. They were soft and fragile feeling. I felt a blush creeping up my face and Jin giggled a bit. I realized I was still holding his hand.
"Oh, sorry," I said, dropping his hand.
"That's okay," he reassured me. "You have nice hands." I almost choked on my spit. Is he flirting with me?
"I'll take the orchids then, Namjoon." My stomach filled with butterflies when he called me by my name.
"Okay, then, Jin hyung," I told him, taking a pot of orchids off the shelf and bringing it to the front.
"Oh, just call me Jin; I don't care about honorifics," Jin informed me. I nodded.
We exchanged money and flowers. I scampered around the counter to the front door.
"Well, maybe I'll see you around," I said to Jin, opening the shop door for him since his hands were full. I never do that for customers...
"Yeah, hopefully. I wouldn't mind seeing your face too much," Jin smiled and walked off into the streets.
I couldn't stop thinking about him for a few hours.
Ffugtjjb that was painfully cringe and boring I'm sorry 😭 I'm terrible at writing starting chapters
Also like the exact same starting as every other fanfic-
