When the pair stepped through the front door, a bell rang from above them.
"Mum?" Jin called out to the empty restaurant. Nobody responded, but he still waited as if he knew someone would call back to him.
"Oh, Jinnie!" A woman's voice suddenly called out, making Namjoon jump out of his skin. Jin giggled.
A shorter, middle aged woman with graying hair emerged from the back, wiping her hands on her apron as she hurried over to the two men.
She laughed as she engulfed Jin in a hug, even though he was much taller than her.
As she let go, Jin asked in a low, serious voice, "Is dad here?"
She broke into a proud smirk. "Don't worry sweetie, he's gone now. I dumped him for calling you a-" She paused before mouthing the word "faggot".
"Really?!" Jin almost yelled in glee. "Good job, mum! Now, let me introduce you to my friend, Kim Namjoon."
"So I'm finally meeting you!" She beamed as she shook Namjoon's hand. She was clearly a cheery, happy lady. "All week, Jin's been telling me about this amazing boy he met at the flower shop," She winked at Namjoon.
"Mum!" Jin groaned, his face going red.
"Oh, fine, I'll leave you two be now," She said, still smirking as she has successfully embarrassed her son. And with that, she disappeared to the back once more.
The two men claimed a seat near the window and once they settled down, Namjoon asked, "So who's this 'amazing boy'?" Jin groaned and let his head bang against the table as Namjoon broke into a fit of giggles.

Jin had ordered a simple cucumber kimchi while Namjoon had ordered jajangmyeon. Once it was set down on their table and they had thanked the waiter, Namjoon dug right in. His face lit up instantly.
"Woah, this is incredible," he exclaimed, cheeks full of food. "I normally only get a coffee."
Jin laughed. "You look so adorable!" Namjoon turned incredibly pink, but he laughed too.
"If you ever want me to cook for you, don't hesitate to ask," Jin informed the younger. "This is my parents food, so naturally I have their cooking skills too."
"Really?" Namjoon asked, as politely as he could when his face was stuffed. Jin smiled and nodded.
The rest of their meal was quiet, much like the car ride, but this time it wasn't awkward. They were just enjoying each other's presence.
When they were all finished, they stacked their dishes neatly on the dining table. They thanked Jin's mother and left to go back to the car.
"That was nice, thanks for taking me," Namjoon said as Jin started the engine.
"Oh, it was my pleasure," Jin smiled his stunning smile at Namjoon. "You deserved it, considering you went through the trouble of getting me home last night."
This time, the car ride back was loud. Full of chatting and laughter coming from the two men in the front. But, all good things must come to an end.
Just not right now.
They may have gotten out of the car, but they kept talking and laughing all the way up to Jin's room then stopped in front of his door.
"See you tomorrow?" Jin asked as he unlocked his door.
"Yeah, definitely," Namjoon replied, thinking if he should do what he's been longing to do for a while.
"Hey, Jin?"
Jin hummed, turning around but as soon as he did, he was engulfed in a big, muscular build that belonged to Kim Namjoon. His smaller frame fit perfectly against Namjoon's.
As Namjoon wrapped his arms around Jin, the elder got over his shock quickly. He hugged him back, feeling so safe in his big, strong arms. He inhaled his scent but then it was over as Namjoon slowly detached himself from Jin.
"See you later!" He waved to Jin, then trotted off to the end of the hallway, leaving Jin dazed.
I think I like Kim Namjoon.
