Chapter two

Marinette POV.

I have some news for Adrien when he comes back from his next job. He is a bodyguard. He escorts people through territories and I have met his best friend Nino. He is in love with a girl named Alya. They are all regulars at the tavern at the moment and whenever I have a spare moment Adrien and I slip into the back room. Which is where I currently am. I sent a letter to Adrien's house which he will read when he gets back telling him to come through the back door of the room as I have something important to tell him.

Three hours later.

Adrien POV

I literally just got home when a found a letter from the girl I love telling me that I need to go to her tavern as she has important news.

At the tavern.

I went round the back and opened the door to find my Marinette sitting on the bed waiting for me. She ran up to me and hugged me lovingly. I hugged back.

Marinette: I have something important to tell you but promise me that this doesn't change anything between us.
Adrien: I promise
Marinette: Ok so Adrien I am having a baby. You are the father.
Adrien: Pardon. Did you just say that I was going to be a father. I am so excited. That's awesome honey.
Marinette: I know I'm so excited.
Adrien: When did you find out.
Marinette: About three months ago but I didn't want want to tell you because we were just starting out in a relationship. I was scared that you would leave me and then I would have to deal with Gabriel trying to figure out of the baby is his or not.
Adrien: Marinette you know I would never leave you. I am just as excited for this baby as you are. Now let me see the belly.

I lifted up my shirt for Adrien to see my little baby bump. I think I am around 4 months pregnant but I don't want to go back home.

Ten minutes later.

Random Guy: Miss Dupain-Cheng. We have sad news for you. Your husband has died.
Marinette: I need to sit down. Please leave.

Adrien came out from where he was hiding and sat next to me.

Adrien: Does that mean I can do this now. He said kissing me.
Marinette: Yep. And I can move in with you. Plus he left me his entire fortune. I'm rich. You can stop leaving me alone.
Adrien: Perfect babygirl.

We walked back out and found Alya and Nino waiting for us at the bar.

Alya: The news is all over town. How are you taking it.
Marinette: You mean Gabriel dying. in all honesty I don't give a shit.
Alya: Fair point.
Marinette: Also on a slightly happier note. I'm gonna be a mother. Adrien is gonna be a father and I'm moving in with you guys.
