Falling In Love With You

Part 7

Asmit went to Chennai for his work purpose.
Avneet just counted hours...But, not for Asmit. She was waiting for the guy who  randomly popped up in her life. The guy with name not revealed, who was staring at her eyes so deeply in the temple... The same guy with hazel orbs, who had wiped her tears the day before. 

Avu- Please come soon...
She stared at the clock. 

Avu- I hope you haven't given fake hope to me, hazel eyed bandar...(monkey) 
She didn't realize when she smiled. She was chuckling inside her heart recalling his jump off her balcony. 

"He jumped off like a monkey! Haha... it was too funny to see his jump! Is he a gymnast?"
She thought. 

She yawned with her eyes glued to the clock. She didn't even know if he would come that day, but she waited. She felt his words genuine. 

She looked at the watermelon. She was hungry. She cut in into halves and scooped out the edible part. She doesn't really likes the food Asmit provides her. The watermelon was sweet and juicy. 
She waited and waited....
But he didn't appear of nowhere, the way he does. Her eyes closed down as sleep took over her. 
After two hours or more, her sleep was broken, due to someone's touch. 

She open her eyes furiously...
But as she saw the person she was waiting for the most...

Avu- You....
She said fondly looking at her hazel man. 
He looked a little startled...

"Uh...well um..." He gulped his saliva. he thought she would yell at him for touching her while she was sleeping. 

"Shall we go?" he said

Avu- Are we really going out of here: forever? 
Her excitement made him smile. 

"Yes...Lets go!"
She overjoyed and passed him her smile. He forwarded his hand to her to which she felt a little heat rising up her cheeks. She held his hand lowering her gaze with a tint of red upon her cheeks. 

He took her to the corridor. There was a life size cardboard box. 

"Get in here." He said.
Avu- Huh? Are you kidding me? Here! How?

"Just do as I say young lady... don't make noise." She quietened hearing him. 
She got into the box and heard him again. 

"I am picking you up, just sit firmly. Don't worry, you won't fall."
She obeyed him and prayed to god. Though it appeared fake, but she wanted to belief to the stranger. She wanted to trust him and so is she doing now. 

The workers and goons of Asmit saw their "Ashu" carrying the box towards his truck. Someone thought to knock him. 

Man- Where are you going with this Ashu? What will you do with it? 

Avneet's heart pounded loudly. Will they get caught now? 

Ashu- Areh areh bhaiya, how could you not get this simple thing? 
The man looked confused.

Man- Explain dude? 
Ashu- I am stealing this precious thing from Boss. How can I miss a chance to which he will get annoyed?

The man including few others laughed at him.
Man- Oh god! This kid is hilarious! It doesn't cost a single rupee to boss. You can just take it away. It won't annoy him. Think of something else. 

Ashu smiled innocently and dragged the box to his truck. He picked it up with care and drove off. 

He was driving maintaining a good speed. His heart was pounding. He stole her. She will now stay with him. He isn't dreaming. Was he really prepared for this?
Driving to a place with least human presence and assuring their security, that they had no eyes on them, he came out of the driver's seat and went to the back of the truck. He jumped up.

"We have reached the destination! I am removing the cover."
He heard her affirmation. He was nervous, but he also wanted to see her...once again, closely and forever. 
He removed the box and threw it away. She took a while to adjust to the light and looked up at him. 
They were in a place surrounded by trees. It was peaceful. She smiled. 
She placed her hand on his shoulder. 

Avu- Thank You. 
But he looked lost. Did she know how rapid and uneven his heartbeats were? 

He took her hand on his, still staring. She looked confused. He pulled her hand closer to his lips until he felt her smooth skin. He lightly pecked her knuckles. Her eyes widened for a while, but the red tint in her cheek went darker. 
She moved her gaze to the ground, smiling a little. 
He wondered;
"Was she blushing?"

Sid- A-are you h-hungry?
Avu- It is okay... I a-m used t-to it. 

Sid- I have prepared food for you...
He smiled at her which she returned fixing her gaze to the truck's ground. 

He went to the corner of his truck where he had set up his kitchen. He heated the food and served her. 
She was hesitating to forward her hand. 

"Is she uncomfortable?" he thought.
He placed the plate of food on her hand, but she trembled. 

Sid- Are you okay? 
He asked being worried. 

Avu- Y-yes. 
He felt it suspicious.

When she was about to tear the roti (Indian food, chapatti), he noticed a dense bruise between her fingers. He had previously held her left hand but never noticed the right. 

Sid- What is wrong with your finger? 
Avu- No-thing? 

Sid- Don't hide to me! Show me.
Avu- Its just a cut, it is okay. 

Sid- Who did it? ?
Avu- I mis-takenly...

He spoke up before she could complete her sentence. 
Sid-(deep voice) I asked, Who has done it!

She shivered to his voice.

Avu- H...he.
Sid- That old moron?

He took away the plate from her and sat beside her. He tore it properly and forwarded his hand of food for her. She looked at him and smiled, even though she knew she shouldn't.

She opened her mouth and he fed her.

Avu(chewing food)- Wow, it is really good. Did you cook it?
He nodded while smiling. He remembers how she refused Asmit but is eating from his hands.

Sid- What is your name?
She gulped the food.

Avu- Avneet Kaur. And you? Ashu?
He chuckled.

Sid- No, I am Siddhath.
Avu- Why were they calling you Ashu then?

Sid- Because they doesn't know my identity.
Avu- Will you answer me if I ask who you are and why did you help me, even when you don't know a single thing about me?

(Huff! I can now finally add my own plot for the next few chapters!)
