Part 25

Vibha was sitting in the truck, while staring at the sky. She was lost in her deep thoughts. 

"MOM!" she heard Siddharth. 
"Look, whom I have brought back home!" Vibha flinched and quickly turned towards the direction of the voice. 
She found her son and daughter-in-law standing there. 

"Avneet- Oh my goodness!" Vibha quickly helped Avneet climb up the truck and pulled her into a tight hug.  
"Avneet, where were you these days? Did they hurt you? It was Asmit right?" Vibha pulled away from the hug. 

"Tell me once that they have hurt you, and then you will see a demonstration of my stamina! You're fine right?" Vibha checked her from head to toe. 

"YOU HAVE BRUISES!" Vibha yelled as she saw Avneet's body was filled with cuts and wounds. 

"Was it Asmit?" she asked. 
"Avneet, answer me!" Vibha grew impatient. 

"Mom- let her breathe," Siddharth pulled away Avneet from Vibha. 
"That old wicked man tried to rape her," Siddharth gazed away from Vibha. 

"R-rape?" Vibha's eyes were filled with tears. "T-they tried to touch you!" 
She looked at Avneet. 
 
"Did he touch you Avneet?" She asked. 
What would Vibha think if she says that Asmit has seen her just in inner garments? Also, mistakenly while trying to escape, she has seen Asmit?

"M-mom I am sorry- " 
"WHY ARE YOU SORRY FOR SOMETHING WHICH IS NOT EVEN YOUR FAULT!" Vibha yelled. 

"Tell me- Wait, did you have any proper meal?" she asked. 
Avneet shook her head. 

"Let me serve you some food first," Vibha hurried up.

"You cannot just leave that wicked man Avneet. He deserves a worse punishment than death!" Vibha said after Siddharth explained the scene on Asmit's mansion to her. 

"Mom, I don't want to get involved in these again and again. He will take revenge on us, what if- what if it harms us, and we lose someone?" Avneet replied. 

"He cannot escape the truth Avneet! D-do you know that he k-killed your father-in-law?" Vibha's voice cracked. "Only because of him, I couldn't provide Siddharth with a better childhood, I couldn't enjoy my life, I can't even present something good to my daughter-in-law!" 

Avneet shook her head. 
"I got you on my back, that is more than enough for me," she said. 

"We have the proofs now! The main reason for me coming to Hyderabad was not just only to get an admission to the college but also to get some evidence for Asmit's sins," Siddharth said. "Else, I would have never joined his group." 

"You can take  your time Avneet, but please cooperate with us to reveal the real identity of Asmit Patel! We can't accept in the lie that his father was dead due to an accident," Vibha was frustrated thinking how low Asmit can be! "He can't live happily after ruining so many lives."
Avneet took  a deep breathe. 

"I'm ready mom!" she said. 
"You can take-" Avneet didn't let Siddharth complete his sentence. 

"He ruined a lot of lives, I have witnessed them in front of my eyes. He made a person like Mom suffer throughout her life. I will stand in the court," Avneet finished. 

Siddharth and Vibha smiled. 
It has been a along time they have lived with the lie. Asmit has not only ruined their lives but also of numerous teen girls and poor vulnerable groups.

Siddharth went to the police station as he received a call from General. Faisal Sheikh. 

"Sir, may I come in?" Siddharth knocked the door. 
"Yes, please," Faisal replied. 

"So, I have called you here because, the sin Asmit was committing is punishable. It is totally against the law's of the Indian constitution. Would you like to contribute in this case?" Faisal asked.
